  • any reviews?

    • Check the review tab of that webpage

  • Not sure of the quality of the one listed but I just ordered the Anker® 2nd Gen Astro3 12000mAh from Amazon AUD$53 + delivery

The reviews for this one suggest it's the best on the market

    http://www.amazon.com/Astro3-12000mAh-Worlds-Fastest-Triple-…

    • How are you charging it? It expects 1.5A charging source

      • The battery does not come with an AC wall charger. You can use a computer USB 2.0 port to charge the battery pack but it is 12000 mAh and it will take between 24 to 26 hours. The manual states to use a 1.5 Amp USB wall charger and it will take 8 hours but I recommend using a 2.1 amp AC wall charger if you have one.
      • A 2 amp charger like those for tablets will meet that.

        • I haven't got it yet (will have it next week) but i'm sure ill find a way to charge it without issue

    • Are u using a drop shipper

      • +1

Can get them from Anker on Ebay apparently - saves going through a re-direction service like Comgateway or Shipito.

        • Thanks!

        • Does sound tempting.

On ebay, is "AnkerDirect" actually Anker? Doesn't explicitly say anywhere.

Call me sceptical but the ebay user info talks about Anker products. But say to buy from AnkerDirect. Ie: Two different entities.

Also there is chinglish like "to ensure your satisfactory." in the ebay user info.
Lastly, knockoffs/fakes of anker are rife on ebay.

AnkerDirect on amazon and Ebay are apparently the same company: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2158173
But that doesn't mean they are, officially, Anker.

        • That's why I said "apparently". And Chinglish is no indicator, isn't Anker just some cheapo Asian manufacturer like all the rest? I didn't explore it too closely, just had a quick squizz on Ebay as Amazon wont ship to Aus. I recently got the Sony 7000mAh one for $30 in the recent JB pricing error, and it does the job for what I need.

        • It's one of the highest rated powerbanks on Amazon, I just ordered 2 after doing quite a bit of research. Their eBay store seems official, at least their twitter is linked to their eBay store.

        • Thanks spacenoodle. This is exactly the info I wanted. I'll place an order on their ebay store.

      • Actually my wife is in the states for work right now so I just shipped it to her hotel for free… just happened to work out that way

        • Dammit! :)

…which hotel? ;) and your address… and aaah I'll just get it off ebay. My stupid ozbargain stinginess just about took over.

This is all I could find on the NoonTec 9000.

  • MobileAcc has this at the top of the site:

    FAST FREE SHIPPING
    Australia Wide

That is misleading for me, in Melbourne metropolitan area, I would be charged $9.95 for two $25 PowerMes.

Edit: I see it says in the Shipping info that you must spend $79+ to get free shipping.

    • That is misleading for me, in Melbourne metropolitan area, I would be charged $9.95 for two $25 PowerMes.

Huh? But the OP/StoreRep stated in their post ->

Free Shipping for the promotion products.

      • Free shipping only if you spend at least $79.

When I got to the end of the order, if it I only picked $50 worth (2x $25), it applied the discount price but then wanted to charged me $9.95 shipping.

        • It's free shipping product, we have fixed that problem : )

        • Thanks. Purchased.

      • Great to see you again. I love the little excitements of seeing you every time in our deal.

  • I wonder what these would be like charging my 3DS XL on the go? :-P

  • the pic on the web site is NSFW a bit if smartphones were human.

  • Thanks, we got one.
