no keys provided, instead it links with steam via a link. :(

Trying to stop people reselling the keys on eBay, I'd say.

        Weird

Edit: here is the FAQ from HB on the change…

Is a shame as I didn't mind giving my extra copies to friends… guess the people trying to make a buck out of it ruined it for everyone else :(

care factor for all other games in this bundle went straight to zero when I saw Superfrog HD!
That game was awesome, and way ahead of its time.

I dont mind, we still get great deals, people just can't profit off the efforts of the humble team, kudos to them. Buying this pack for sure.

  • I don't like the new changes, I'd rather have the extra keys to give away, so I'll buy the games I actually want direct from Steam for less (don't worry, I'll still donate to charity).

I, like a lot of people, used to just impulse buy these bundles because I could give the spare keys away or even swap them, now it will actually be the price you pay is the cost of what you redeem. In my case it would have cost $1.41 more than to just buy direct from Steam.

It's either this system or 1 key for all the games. In the case of having only 1 key you weren't able to give away individual keys either. At least with this method you can choose to activate only the games you want. I hate having to be forced to activate a game on my Steam account that I don't want.

      • +1

no it's not - i only redeem the first game and the rest automatically linked to my account

I really like this bundle for the nostalgia factor. I am unlikely to play these games but worth every cent just for the memories it brings back especially Alien Breed and Super Frog

    • Wait do you mean you're going to buy it just to recall some memories of playing them but you won't actually play them?

  • I can't redeem the Worms games. They won't show up in Steam. Superfrog worked fine though.
    Anyone else?
EDIT: Nevermind they showed up after 5 minutes or so.

No worms world party? That makes me sad in pants.

  • Does these games support Linux?

    • If steam supports linux, then I'd suggest the games would also?

      • +1

no, Linux support is game defendant (same applies for Mac). Check the Steam page for each individual game. Steam is Linux supported but most games available on Steam are not supported on Linux OSes.

For example, Worms Blast is Windows only as stated under system requirements.

  • do u redeeem the games one by one or is it all in one go? cos if it's one by one.. then u can simply unlink your steam account and then give access to your humble bundle account to your friend and link their account to it if you wanted to gift the game to them

    • the whole lot, there key section for each game but once you redeem one - it redeem the rest automatically

      • It was one at a time for me? I didn't redeem one straight away because I thought I already had it

  • lol at one of top contributers 'random rich idiot' i love the worm games!

  • I would buy this but I would feel like I was betraying my Amiga 500 for the new AGA chipset…
