  • I guess you could say, this is a way to get Battlefield 4 for $68 on PS4.

    • I believe this voucher isn't valid for pre-orders, and the PS4 version isn't received until 29th Nov.

    • It's $14.95 to upgrade the the PS4 version, so you could get it for $72.95 and could probably trade in the PS3 version to make it even cheaper. There hasn't been any word if you require the PS3 disc in the PS4 to play the digital download though.

      • I thought they said you do need it to play the ps4 version.

You will need your PS3 disc to play the PS4 upgraded version.

"If I upgrade to PlayStation 4, what happens with my physical PlayStation 3 disk?
You must have the PlayStation 3 Battlefield 4 disk in your PlayStation 4 in order to play BF4 on PS4."

Off topic, but that brings me to think… PS4 can read PS3 disc formats? :|

        • What are you talking about ps3 discs are blu rays :(.

The discs are probably just to read the game verification id.

        • Ps4 is still blu-ray, but it doesn't have the architecture to run the ps3 games. Its insides are different.

        • I think the disc will be a one time use.

        • +1

Not according to instructions in box. Remove the PS3 disc and game will stop.

        • Damn, I was hoping that it was an activation thing, oh well, either way works for me.

  • Bf4 single player is not good. I played and got disappointed.

    • +4

BF4 is an online game. Single player is there to fulfil a quota I suppose. I don't even bother with single player, I jump straight to online.

A friend of mine bought BF3, but doesn't have xbox live, which makes the game not at all worth the money (despite the fact that BF3 on current gen consoles isn't really worth the money either :p )

      • I played on PC with dual shock 3. How cool!

        • +2

          That's not cool …. KB/MICE for shooter …..

        • -6

We're talking about video games. There is no cool.

        • PC games are not video games.

        • -3

Oh of course, PC games are so important and special. /s

        • lol, no I mean the video in video games refers to playing on your TV.

  • BF4 for PS4, $67 if you don't mind import stock http://www.videoezy.com.au/games/battlefield-4-playstation-4….

$62 from play-asia.com, which is US stock http://www.play-asia.com/battlefield-4-paOS-13-49-en-70-6mwj…

  • i played bf4 on ps3 last night. the feeling is …. terrible. i feel like i am playing a modern game on a 10 yrs old computer which simply cant handle the game. is it just me?

    • When I played BF3 on PS3, then my friends PC, it honestly was like playing a PS2 vs a PS3 game. BF4 is miles ahead of most other games. If BF3 wasn't great on PS3, I can't imagine BF4.

Even PS4 and XBone won't be able to play BF4 in 1080p. You really need a PC to fully optimise the capabilities of this game.

      • i will give it a try again this weekend (tonight). if the game is still like skipping frames all the time (like watching ppt, sort of), i will return the game to target next monday.

        • I am torn about this as well. I have heard the PS4 will do justice to the game, but at the same time, I don't want to go through the torture of playing it on PS3.
Wish EA had upgrade options. Gamers are not confined to only one platform these days. If only they let me buy the PC version for say $70, and then pay $10 or so for every new platform I want to play it on, PS3, PS4, etc. And they can lock the game with my Origin account, so I can't really sell the game copy.

        • i returned the game. it looked really terrible on ps3. now i will probably buy a cod.

  • Battlefield 4 for $68 is decent, but for $58 on PS3, its a better price locally than you'll find anywhere. Add in its $14.45 for the PS3 upgrade, and you've got a PS4 launch day title (after download) for $72.45 (or $62.45 for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag: Special Edition).

I won't be buying games digitally, with the exception of the PS3 > PS4 upgrades, and I won't be upgrading COD: Ghosts because I pre-ordered the PS4 hardened edition.

Target have definitely nabbed some of my money this week!

  • If you wanted cheaply for PC, you can use a US VPN such as TunnelBear (which is free on mac and PC). Connect to US, connect to origin website and buy via origin directly. You can get for $60 using paypal instead of $80
