V-MODA V-80 headphones (same as M-80, just has some red accents) are nice portable on-ear headphones that don't need a separate amp but are quality in output, build and fairly balanced. I used to break in-ears all the time, had these 2 years and wouldn't look elsewhere.

Hit my price watch on camelcamelcamel - never seen 'em this cheap so picked up a pair for the wife. Its the cheapest M-80s or V-80s have ever been on amazon.

  I like the red on the inner side of the headband but too bad it has the True Blood logo on it ;(
  Good find, Im also waiting for a decent deal on the M100 but $300 compared to this… I could get 2 and a half :)

    Aye the True Blood logo had me worried when I bought my first pair, but the blood word is actually bloody hard to read on the black background so it can't be read from more than a couple feet… :)
