        Might be a silly question, but it seems this 'out of stock' is linked to me being in QLD. In fact, the whole beer, wine, spirit section seems unavailable once I log in. Is it not possible to purchase alcohol online in QLD?

          Sorry, I can't help you there. I am not familiar with QLD laws. I am in Vic and had no such problem when I ordered. Hopefully some one will have an explanation for you.

          Just rang Woolworths and they confirmed that purchasing alcohol online is not possible for Queensland customers (for whatever reason). When I change pickup location to NSW or WA or VIC it works fine. Quite unfortunate that we're missing out on such a good deal up here.

    Great price. You can also apply both coupons to Johnnie Walker Red (should you drink the stuff), which has a special two bottles (700ml) for $65….makes it $45 for two bottles.

    Since last night, they had good deals,

    it started with
    $30 order at $20 - 30% off , still should be valid with NOV140
    $50 order at $30 - 40% off , expired , it was with stacked coupons
    $50 order at $15 - 65% off, expired, just lasted 3 hours with stacked coupons (I missed it damn)
    $50 order at $5 - 95% off, expired, no one tried with BDAYNOV13

    I think woolies are going American way , promoting coupons, America lives on coupons since last 20 years and it rocks.

    I got 2 700ml bottles of red label scotch for $30, used gift cards - I would nominate it as the best booze deal of the year.
    Well done Woolworths.
    I spend at least twice as much money at Woolies as in Coles (simply judging by number of gift cards I purchase).
    I'll definitely keep up with it.
