CreationWatches.com Horrible Customer Service

Hey everyone, I was hoping for any advise on an issue I have had with Creationwatches recently. I purchased the Orient Classic Automatic ER2C003W in which the description said it had luminous hands. When I received the watch it did not have luminous hands and after waiting several days from Creationwatches for a reply, I noticed they had changed the description. I contacted them through their website, facebook and tried calling them but obviously their mistake was brought up to them by me and they ignored me covering up their tracks. What can I do now? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • It still says luminous hands on the cached version of the site after a quick google.

I would take a screenshot of the cached site with a note of the time it was cached, and hopefully this is after the date you purchased it.

  • what method of payment did you use? you could try fair trading or, depending on your payment method, look at reversing the transaction

    • I used paypal, but I'll give them another few days until I will dispute. Prefer not to go through paypal, long and lengthy process but won't have much of a choice if it comes to that. These guys are internationally based, (i'm not sure) so fair trading can't help, I think.

Just suck it up… Business is doing it though will error description in the website, clearly the picture shows that this is a non luminous.

Picture can show the bloody titanic mate for all it matters, if the description says its Luminous then it has to be Luminous. The whole idea of dispute policy is based on damaged goods, not working or Does Not Match Description. OP has every right to take this further.

"Just suck it up"? So every time a business is at fault the buyer should suck it up? How would you feel if you bought a meat lovers pizza with no meat on it?

No idea how you worked out that the hands aren't luminous, based on that picture. If I ordered a watch that was advertised with lume and didn't actually have it, I'd assume the watch was defective and send it back. Good lume is a beautiful thing. OP has every right to be concerned about this. Creationwatches are amateurs if they're not taking it seriously.
