  • Some pretty good looking watches available.

  • I didn't know Amazon delivered watches to Aus?
    Time to go shopping :)

    • +10

make sure this option is ticked.

      AmazonGlobal Eligible

      • Hi - where do we find this option? I can't see it on the page or in the Help section either…thx

        • Disregard, found it on left hand side at the bottom :)

      • Thx, found that little bugger :)

  • +1

Got the Seiko Sportura Black Dial Black Leather Band Mens Watch

    Amazing deal, thx

    • It can not be shipped to Sydney.. lol

      Where do you live?

    • Can't be shipped.

      • I just bought one.

Change seller to some other company or amazon. =D

    • It was able to be shipped. They must have caught on. Had it in the cart too, ready to be processed. Kicking myself for waiting and not getting one straight away.

      • Able to add one to cart not necessary mean it can be shipped to Australia.

      • I was able to get one. I had to choose the Amazon one which showed 'amazonglobal etc'

  • Thanks
I got a Seiko for myself and another Seiko for present

  • Is that in USD?

    • Amazon can actually convert it to AUD for you to pay

  • Shipping costs around $11 for one watch (AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping (averages 8-16 business days)

  • Is the 30% off already applied for us? or do we put it 30OFFNOV at checkout?

Keeps coming up as "There was a problem. The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

and yes I am selecting it from the list of watches under Spend 100 or more and save 30%. Are we meant to do this after we save our card?

  • +3

Hmm - I tried entering '30OFFNOV' on the 'shipping & payment' page for the Seiko SRP315 and get this error:

    There was a problem

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

Anyone else experience this? I would've thought the code should work for any watch within the "Spend $100 or More & Save 30%" category?

    • Ok, figured it out.

Basically the landing page link to the SRP315 (and other models) will lead you to the lowest price available, which may or may not be sold direct through Amazon

Currently, the lowest price for this model is through the retailer 'E Watch Stock', at $198:
      http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SRP315-Classic-Automatic-Divers/…

But in order to qualify for the discount, you need to choose the product that 'ships from and is sold by Amazon.com', priced at $213:
      http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SRP315-Classic-Automatic-Divers/…

Long story short - click the second link, and total shipped to Australia should come to USD $160.08:

      Item Subtotal: $213.00
      Shipping & Handling: $10.98
      Promotion Applied: -$63.90

      Total Before Tax: $160.08

      Order Total: USD $160.08

P.S - it should be cheaper to buy in USD through 28 degrees (160.08 * 1.074114 = AUD $171.94 (obtained from https://www.mastercard.com/global/currencyconversion/) than to convert to AUD through Amazon's currency exchange service, which I think was charging AUD ~$177)

P.P.S - looking forward to retiring my SBDX001 from active diving duty… I was always paranoid taking it down, but no problems with a $<200 watch :)

  • +1

Just an FYI that combining multiple watches under $100 (to a total price above $100) seems to work with the coupon.

  • A lot of the good stuff is not Amazon Global eligible :(

  • +1

Best watch there hands down is the Seiko Monster (SRP315), with the discount shipped to Oz it is about $175 ish. Very tempted! Buy yourself an Orange Nato strap for it to replace the rubber one it comes on!

    • Yeah I've got an old orange monster and the new black and red monster, they are great watches and well worth the money.

    • Weakened, couldn't help myself, bought a Monster!!!

  • +1

    That's some ugly sh*t lol

I want this but the buggers don't deliver
    http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SNAF25-Sportura-Chronograph-Japa…

    • Same I wanted this one too :(

    • But that watch is a Quartz watch, it is battery powered. The Monster is an all time classic Automatic watch, very collectible. There are folks who just collect this model of watch. The legions of anonymous Quartz watches are throwaways, collector watches are regularly bought and sold on when you want to trade them or buy something else. 5 years from now when you are sick of that generic quartz chrono and want another you'll be throwing that away, I'll be selling my Monster over on Watchuseek and using the money I get to put towards my next watch!

Seiko Monster is one of the all time classic watches and given that it's $176 this is a good chance to get hold of one of the classics. I have a collection of much more expensive watches than this one but I'm still buying the Monster because it is one of the all time greats!!

  • Great post. Got a really nice Seiko watch for $132, all up. Coupon didn't seem to work but Amazon had put a $50 voucher in my account for some reason so I have made my wife very happy tonight.

  • It's strange, some Amazon ones seem to deliver, and some don't.

Tentatively ordered a Seiko Solar for $122 delivered, same one on the Star Jewels website is $525.

    • Hi which one did you order? Tried it on the black solar but said code can't be applied :( seems to only apply to amazon as the seller?

  • Tried it on the one of the Sportura's, and it's saying the promotion code can't be applied

    • Propably cause its not part of the deal.

  • thanks, got a seiko solar for 87

  • -2

Cheers, picked up the Seiko Aviator SSC145 for AU 166
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B7FY3RS/ref=oh_details_o…

    Score!

    • nice one

    • I want to get one too, but why it said " We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order. " any advise? t hanks

      • yeah same, @wally simmonds, how did you buy this one?

        • Change the seller to Amazon instead of the one displayed

        • care to share the link with amazon seller?

        • where can we switch the seller to amazon?

        • On the right side of product page, there will be something like "30 new from $219.99" then you click "30 new" to see other seller like amazon

        • there is no seller amazon.com…
          only FULFILLMENT BY AMAZON

        • yep but there is no amazon as far as i can search? care to share the link with amazon seller?

        • Oh, this watch is not available by Amazon. Therefore no 30% discout.. Maybe they ran out of stock?

    • Looks like they ran out of stock. Sorry guys!

  • +1

Just don't do many returns with "Amazon's great customer service" or accept refunds from them otherwise they'll ban you and your whole family for life and it's more common than you might think. Seriously

  • Thanks for posting! One Christmas gift done and I didn't have to get out of bed. :)

  • To get 30% off and delivered to Australia

    1. Make sure the seller is Amazon. Not someone else and fulfilled by Amazon
    2. Choosing other than Amazon, you wont get 30% off
    3. Amazon gift card means you're getting 30% off. If you already entered the code thats how it comes up
    4. Other sellers will still ship to Aus as it is fulfilled by Amazon but you wont get 30% off
    • Still only works for some brands I believe as tried a couple of Casio's and no dice..

      • Yeah when you click the link it has a certain range of brands. They wont do this on anything like Tag Heuer or Omega. Which would be nice.

Anyway there is a selection of brands eligible for extra 30% off
Its usually on the left hand side of the web page and check the brands

  • So many watches to choose from.
    Don't know where to start.

  • Got the below watch for AUD 144.48 after discount and including shipping
    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2GQE24/ref=pe_385040_30332200_p…
    Nice find.

  • I like the Cross watches - bought one
I'm a bit of a watch nut…..bought four or five via Amazon over the last 2 years- Invicta, Stuhrling - great watches for daily use and keeps my higher range in better nick.
Always been happy with each purchase

  • Can someone please help me here?
I tried to order Ladies fashion watch which show me30% off but it gives me error with my shipping address, it shows me change shipped address or delete order ? I live in Sydney.

    • +1

      Tick the checkbox for:

      International Shipping
      AmazonGlobal Eligible

The ones that appear under that criteria should ship to Australia

      • Thanks.
One I wanted its not eligible- Armani AX5157.

  • +2

The code only applies to "selected style".

Just click the link OP provides, and filter on the department / Brand on the left hand side - whatever shows should be eligible for this promotion.

    • I cant use the promotional code for this watch… :(

  • Thanks, OP, just picked up two watches!

  • -6

    no seiko warranty

    • +1

Any of the watches that are:
      a) eligible for the discount, and
      b) sold by Amazon
are covered by a Seiko three year warranty.

  • My wallet hates ozbargain. Just bought a Tommy Hilfiger watch thanks.

  • Sweet, had been looking on Amazon for a new watch for Christmas. Ended up getting the Seiko Men's SSC085 for $138.20US delivered (splurged for gift wrapping so Mum won't have to do it :-P) so was a bargain for the prices I could find over here!

  • Thanks, got a Hilfiger one.

The Seikos might be of higher quality but that seemed to provide the best combination of quality, value (as a discount % of RRP) and aesthetics.

  • Which watches are automatic? Is there a way to search for a particular type of movement?

  • ordered one for the missus. thanks op!

  • Damn you OZB!! I don't even wear a watch and ended up ordering a watch which didn't even qualify for the 30% discount!! Is that the ultimate case of being Ozbargained??

It's a nice watch though so
    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0053EXPZU/ref=pe_385040_30332200_p…

  • Hey sorry it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere, but does anyone know when this is on until? I'm just guessing from the code that it's for the rest of November?

  • +1

    Thanks, OP
Got this one for AUD$160 delivered: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B7FXSPG/ref=oh_details_o…

  • Got the same one as well. The au RRP is $650
    http://www.starjewels.com.au/mens-solar-alarm-chronograph-ss…

    • I kept telling myself not buy, but after you post this link…….just cant resist anymore…

    • It's good value but RRPs aren't worth anything these days. Stores just make them up as they go. RRPs don't even seem to match from store to store. it used to be just mattresses, pots/pans and blinds that made up BS RRPs, nowadays everyone's doing it.

  • Has this deal expired?

  • Anyone got charged twice for watch? I see one transaction has been cleared and the other one is pending..

I sent email to Amazon and they said it is for authorisation..??

  • pending transactions don't always mean actual charges. Depending on your card, authorizations can take 4-10 to clear. I wouldn't worry about it. You can't get any safer than Amazon. They'll look after you if there's been an error.

  • I just got a undeliverable / refund notification on my order.

Tracking showed ETA of November 29, and the status had gone to left carrier facility. Then suddenly undeliverable. I think it's been lost by the carrier (or stolen).

November 17, 2013, 2:53 pm, Hebron KY US Package has left the carrier facility
November 16, 2013, 10:47 am, Hebron KY US Package arrived at a carrier facility
November 16, 2013, 4:11 am, Carlstadt NJ US Customs Clearance delay
November 16, 2013, 1:07 am, —- Package has left seller facility and is in transit to carrier

Amazon has banned my delivery address, so I can't re-order.

Has anyone received their watches yet, or anyone else got a undeliverable?

    • Mine's currently delayed due to customs 'flag'. Whatever that means. Although it's still showing Nov29 ETA.

Why is your delivery address banned?

      • I hope that's not an omen - mine was the same - and my ETA was the same - 29 Nov.

Here's what Amazon said in their refund email: "Reason for refund: Shipping address is undeliverable."

Here's what they said in their undeliverable email (I received two)…

"The shipping address listed for the returned order is:

        BJReplay
        Company Name
        Level x, yy Collins Street
        Melbourne
        VIC
        3000
        AU

As there have been multiple undeliverable orders to this address, any future orders to this address will not be accepted."

They have delivered to this address in the past (via i-parcel, too) - and the last delivery was an ozbargain deal :)

  • I sent a inquiry for the information of "customs clearance delay". Here is the response from the Amazon representative:

"I understand you've been contacted to provide information to clear your shipment through local customs.

I did try to contact I-Parcel on your behalf and was unable to get through to speak to a representative. It is not uncommon for I-Parcel to take 2-3 days to respond to an e-mail.

Local regulations or administrative procedures may require the importer to provide a tax identification number, as well as other information, for customs clearance purposes. When required, the carrier must receive this information to start the customs clearance process. A delay in customs clearance will delay the package delivery. If the importer is unable to provide the requested information to the carrier, the package will be returned to Amazon and you'll be issued a refund.

We hope to see you again soon. "

    • +1

I had a custom clearance delay - but there was certainly no contact from i-parcel. I smell an i-parcel stuff up here.

  • +2

I'm confused. The custom's delay is in the US not Australia. A buyer needs to provide info to US customs??? Something doesn't sound right

This is what mine says (from iparcel website)

Received at i-Parcel and on hold for review
Your shipment has been flagged for review of the contents prior to export
Package details received electronically from Seller

    • That's what I saw too. Something isn't right.

    • Mine said the same thing, but then yesterday was changed to 'received at i-parcel' after 2 days of being on hold for review.

This is strange as I've never had a problem with any Amazon order before! And this one is being delivered to my folks as its my Christmas present from them! They'd better not drop the ball on this and give me a refund, I'll definitely be pissed..

      • Also must admit I never really check status with amazon and I always get it. I only looked it up after reading it on here. So probably best to ignore until it turns up at your door next Friday.

        • If it doesn't arrive I'm coming for blood :-P

  • Hey guys, I've read the comments above. Just wanted to add what's been happening to mine cause it's quite convulated. Worried at this time cause it's never been the case.

So mine has from 'Package has left the carrier facility' to 'Package arrived at a carrier facility' back and forth twice. Not sure if I should just let it go or I should contact them..

    • Just an update, I contacted an Amazon rep via live chat (Wow, their live chat service has been so good to me for the last few orders I had issues with.) who gave me this email address to contact directly. [email protected]

They told me it's on it's way to Australia and it was a small delay. No explanation for it but I'm satisfied as the expected delivery time hasn't been delayed.

      • It's best not to constantly monitor the status. 99% of the time you will get it by the due date. Tracking messages don't always make sense. Best to leave it alone.
It's Amazon after all so they will ALWAYS help you if something goes wrong.

        • Yea, I usually trust Amazon cause their service is so good.

I guess I got a bit paranoid haha.

  • Most people should now find that their package has been released and on its way. From now on you're in the hands of Auspost. GOOD Luck lol!!

  • Just got my watch!

For the record, I had some weird tracking status updates too. Seemed to indicate it was going around in circles over there in the U.S But in the end, only one day later than the estimate.

  • Just got mine too!

    Love Amazon as always… :))

    • Happy for you, not so much for me - my order (that was cancelled) was due to arrive today.

  • yeah, you really can't go wrong with amazon. They bend over backwards to help you. They have offered me a full refund in the past for the inconvenience even though I never asked for it.

Looking fwd to getting mine today hopefully.
