Where can I buy Brand New Authentic Basketball Shoes here in AUS? (Kobe 8, Jordan Retro, Lebron) OZBARGAIN PRICE! =)

Hi guys, please help me if you know a site or a place where I can buy genuine basketball shoes locally (AUS) or international but minimal shipping cost.

Thanks!

Eastbay are pretty decent & shoes are genuine. They usually have a 20% off code running:

If you order around $150+ the 20% off covers the shipping cost. Some of their sale items are priced very well.

Last time I ordered, by sticking to sale items, I got 3 pairs of running shoes for $160 delivered. They would have easily cost $150 each in Aus.

    • Thanks snowblindnz for your reply. So are you saying AUS stores are really hopeless for bargains with regards to this type of shoes?

      • Hi, not sure for basket ball shoes in particular. I know for running shoes they are not that great in Aus. A bargin in an Australian store might be $70-80 for something which is end of line, where as from Eastbay you are looking at around $50 delivered for a bargin.

I am quite biased though, as I have a size 14US foot, which means most sale items don't come in my size, and what does come in size 14 is usually $150-$250/pair (RRP, in stock at the store).

  • I saw some Jordans in the Nike Outlet shop in Melbourne (Sth Wharf) a week ago on 40% off but they are probably last year's model if that's important.

In general with athletic footwear of any description…yes AUS shops are normally hopeless for this kind of thing.

  • you just missed the 30% off everything in Footlocker. ended yesterday.

  • Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong South (north-west side of highway) one intersection from the railway bridge overpass has a large warehouse type shop that sells sports shoes at good prices. (Some others of course … we went there especially to buy Vans which were half price at sale). Sorry I cannot recall the shop name but you cannot miss the shop if you are in that vicinity … south of the bridge overpass. Perhaps check Google Earth. It wouldn't hurt checking the prices there first.

    • Thanks JediJan but can you confirm if that shop sells authentic basketball shoes? Sorry to be a bit skeptical but a lot of good quality copycat are going on circulation these days.

      • Unfortunately cannot confirm but from my recollection they had a lot of well known sports brands there. Wouldn't surprise me if they were the good quality copycat though; I just cannot say. Worthwhile having a look if you are near there; we went on a Friday evening. They were very busy and there were a lot of Asian shoppers there at the time; good indication I believe that they were offering very good prices. Ps. We bought the Vans half price ($100 not $200 but they could have been the older stock .. how does one tell I just don't know) - looked original to me, and I really wouldn't like to pay $200 for Vans which are just a fashion trend really. Son was happy with them and they seem to be good quality; getting a lot of wear and not falling apart.

        • I will try to go there sometime as It will be an hour and half depending on the traffic from where I live. Thanks for the suggestion and when you do remember of the name of the shop just let me know.. thanks!
