I was just posting this and it wouldn't let me.

Some great deals to be had, 20% off usually offsets shipping on all my previous orders for around $150-230 or so and then they are still half the price you would expect to pay in Aus.

    • I was just posting this and it wouldn't let me.

      i didn't do anything, i swear!

      ;p

  • Nice find! What are delivery times like? If we place an order now will it arrive by Xmas?

    • +1

it will definitely arrive by then. they use UPS and the last time i ordered on a saturday night, i got my shoes that week on the friday.

problem is, it's expensive so you'll always hear me bitching about the lack of a slower shipping option ;)

    • Delivery for my order was $40 US. Ordered on a Wednesday night and arrived that Monday. I was shocked at how fast it was, but then again I paid the premium for the opportunity.

  • $%#@!!! Just placed an order on Thursday last week and it's getting delivered today, and you ruin my feelings with this deal :(

    • I hope you at least used a 15% off code? You can always find them.

  • +2

I wish they have cheaper postage :(

    • i hear ya :(

  • They don't sell golf shoes do they?

    • -1

Golf shoes are ridiculous. You can play golf in any shoes.

      • +1

I can play basketball in thongs, but I want to be able to pivot and change direction.

        • -1

That's a terrible comparison. Golf is just walking around slowly, yes it could be played in thongs.
          I play both regularly.

        • clearly you don't know anything about golf.
Try playing golf with normal shoes and see if you get good traction especially on damp grass. There's a reason they have spikes.

  • Do you guys ever do a bulk order to save on shipping?

For example people from WA or something get a little group together to order the shoes they want, split the shipping costs, then meetup somewhere to pick their shoes up from whoever the shoes were sent to.

    • i've seen others organise what you describe in previous posts. definitely a good idea if you can work it out

      • it works well if a group can get together and be trusted to receive the items and not run away with the goods and money.

need to work out a system that is fair to both buyer and seller (seller in this case would be the person receiving the item and redistributing it)

  • They don't do free postage to Australia do they?

    • +1

      nope just standard postage unfortunately.

  • I am quite paranoid in investing $250 in clothing when Black Friday is right around the corner. What do you guys think?

    • +1

i'd be inclined to wait. if nothing good turns up, then just wait for the next 20% off code

      • how often are they bud?

        • 3-4 weeks usually. Just search for eastbay (top right).

  • shipping barely goes down when you buy 2. one pair for $40 and two for $70

  • Is it me or has shipping gone up now? I remember it being around $40 US and now its around $65 US

    • what's your order subtotal?
i posted their shipping charges explanation somewhere up-thread..
