    Great watch, and great price. Only negative this about this watch is the "negative display", making it difficult to see in day light.
    There is a positive lit screen, but often more expencive.

        Buyer beware.

        I've owned a bunch of digital watches with negative LCD displays from Casio, Timex, Nixon, Suunto and Tokyoflash and with maybe one exception they all sucked.

        They hall have an exceptionally narrow viewing angle of about 30 or so degrees in which they're readable with at least 20 watts of overhead lighting; anything outside that and you're basically groping in the dark. Always having to turn the backlight on past 5pm to read your watch quickly wears out any novelty the negative display had.

        They look okay on promotional photographs which have been touched up but in real-life, they're a bit lacklustre (never as defined in contrast) and certainly not practical; especially for ruggedised, sports/outdoor watches.

    Always wanted one of these. Too bad it's not in black, it maybe too tempting not to buy then.. Suppose to be more accurate than the protrek but less durable.

    I have the Tactical 'all black' one of these, good watch. I wear mine when I am skiing over the top of my ski jacket wrist. It has a wierd lug attachment so it was very difficult to put a longer strap on it. Obviously for folks that just want to wear it on the wrist like a regular watch…no problem.

    Batteries are very easy to change as well.
