I picked up 2 of these today in Woolworths (Mill Park) on clearance for $3 each. There were about 8 more on the shelf. Expiry 2016. Only difference is on the top left where this one says 'Ultra Mist' my ones say 'New No Rub Clear Spray'.

$3? Wow! The ones I got at ALDI also say 'New No Rub Clear Spray' and have an expiry of 2016. Looks like they are using a different image at the website.

You scored well. Very well, indeed.

Went back and got the last clearance one, then had a look in the normal section and saw full priced ones. Asked the staff and apparently the line has been deleted because the new ones are 50+ so I presume all Woolworths will be clearing these.

  • is this any good ?

Not if you have a sensitivity to salicylates (aka 'aspirin allergy) but otherwise yeah, pretty good stuff.

Very convenient to apply. You probably save money in the long run by getting a more even application on all parts of your body and not wasting any sunscreen.

  • I picked this up last year for a cheap price bcoz of this announcement. I recalled reading it on the news.I have not been burnt yet but i have not used it much eithef…

I remember that too, but it didn't affect Australia. From their website:
"You can be confident that NO Banana Boat Sunscreens sold in Australia are impacted by the voluntary recall on products made, and sold, in the US & Canada. All Australian Banana Boat Sunscreens are manufactured locally in Australia and comply with the Australian & NZ Standard and testing requirements. Our sunscreens continue to be safe to use, so you and your family can enjoy your fun in the sun. As with all sunscreens always read the label and use only as directed."

  • but Aldi does parallel imports?

    • Ah ok. But I got mine from Woolworths. They don't do they?
