  • Has anyone own this skateboard before? i would like to know some helpful review

    • +1

got the ones from the Toys R Us sale, I believe they are same brand. they're sturdy and solid, although the board looks like it bends quite a lot while you're riding (cause of your weight) it's quite strong

      • The old "plastic Fantastic" skateboards we rode in the '80s used to flex quite a lot too, even under the weight of a pre-teen kid.

Not sure why anybody would deliberately buy one of these when there's no shortage of cheap skateboards that don't suck. Sure, not $6.42 cheap, but we couldn't get rid of the plastic rubbish and get onto a real skateboard quick enough.

  • I've owned a few different cheap plastic boards, and they are heaps of fun.

You want to look at the boards before you buy it though: a better board will have metal trucks (the wheel hangers) with four small bolts through the board, and small washers between the wheel bearing and the nut holding it to the hangar.

When you get the board, take the wheels off and take the bearings out (see youtube), and if metal on both sides, carefully pop one side out, then wash in spirits with an old toothbrush, dry well and lubricate with a light oil. Put the bearing back in with the open side inside the wheel.

If your budget stretches, I'd also replace the bushings (rubber that controls the hardness of turn) for about $10.
