Both are the US version and will work on Australian Playstations but any dlc would need to be purchased on the US PSN store.

Last time they offered Last of us for $30 they took everyone's money then waited 5 weeks before sending emails saying your order has been cancelled.
Seems to have been a one off. Check out other deals from Play Asia that have been posted here and they haven't had any other problems.
I placed my order fairly quickly, and though there was a shipping delay I received my copy and it was brand new. Just placed an order for Beyond: Two Souls, hopefully there's no delay this time!
They had better deliver this time, or all those negging the neggers will need to renig their negs.

I swore I would never buy from them again but 'The Last of Us' is probably the last game I will ever buy for the PS3. It's such a high rated game.

PS3 games are region free, but the DLC is not. DLC is tied to the disc BLES code, which is different for most regions (generally the UK and AUS are the same, though there have been exceptions).

did you make sure to choose the free bubble mailer option? also paypal charges a currency conversion fee of 2.5% I think so factor that in too.

Yeah it is the same for other sites also, where there is a conversion. They have the converted amount on the website then on paypal it is higher, wish they used the same exchange as everyone else and not their own.

Just a tip for PA weekly deals, don't use paypal. There's often a delay before PA actually sends out your stuff, so if you get worried about things taking forever and want to be able to cancel it instantly, pay by credit card.
They don't charge until it's shipped. If you cancel, it's canceled immediately, no charge. If you paid by Paypal, the refund has to be processed manually.
GRRR, just bought Beyond: Two Souls off amazon.co.uk for about 45AU delivered (22 pounds plus postage) sigh then again, I know I'm guaranteed to get that (and in time for christmas), so if anyone else is after it and doesn't feel sure about this deal, you might wanna try that. Tempted to grab The Last of Us here now though hah (was agonizing tossing up between the two on amazon [although apparently TLOU is more expensive again on amazon now])

It comes down to whether you liked David Cage's previous games. I thought they were good for what he was trying to do, I just thought the execution could have been much better.

i neg all the posts by wowhd. i paid. they can't deliver. said sold out. then no reply until i contacted them weeks later. then won't give refund. and the second choice still took a few weeks to receive… share the experience. but play-asia has always been good…
It's a deal from the same company offering the same game, many paid for it, few received it.
Companies need to earn their reputation, and for me and many others, they have not.
It is completely justified to neg a bargain if you pay a high price in terms of waiting, and the chance of not receiving your paid for game after 5 weeks.
If they send it, then good.
If they don't send it, I didn't lose anything.

Sounds like pretty good reason to me, actually. I mean, should he just pretend he didn't get screwed? It's very useful for us to know if a store doesn't have perfect service. Changes the value of the bargain.

So tempted for Beyond but after my experiences with region-locked DLC I might wait for a UK Pal version at the very least. However Heavy Rain's UK and AUS versions had different codes so even then. Wonder if the UK code has been posted somewhere…
TLOU has an online pass which you'll need for multiplayer but I don't think Beyond Two Souls has anything worthwhile online.

Thought about B2S but so many bad reviews, and to be honest while I thought Heavy Rain was ok, it was a little boring - and this is meant to be bat shit boring compared to that so gave it a miss

Question for anyone who's played Beyond: Two Souls - is it worth waiting for the special edition to drop in price instead? I mean, they make a big deal about who it's a whole extra 30 mins of gameplay… but is it any good?
The 30min DLC can be beat in 10mins, not worth it…

Most of it seems to be multiplayer maps or items that I could care less about but the single player stuff looks promising.

I bet you used PayPal. I had $60 on the site then when I paid through PayPal, the PayPal website used its own special exchange rate which is lower than what everyone else uses and charged me $64.87.
It sucks how PayPal does this.
