Not sure if this is considered a dupe, but the prices on certain Oakleys on Amazon have dropped significantly.
I ordered my Straight Jacket polarized glasses 3 days ago after seeing this deal:

          The one you linked are the normal crosshairs yes, but not polarized but polished. Only the brown chrome/bronze crosshairs are polarized from what I can see right now.

          The 2.0's are polarized and the Matte Black Frame/Warm Grey Lens is discounted. Hope that makes sense. I updated the description.

    A nice looking pair of sunglasses. As much as I hate the cheap pair I'm using now I've never been able to justify buying a high-end pair.. Another $50 off and I'm sold!

      For ages I was like this, until I bought some Polarised RayBans (brown lenses) for near $400 (maybe 4 yrs ago). Have to say i shouldnt have waited, my eyes are so much more relaxed after a long drive. You really do get something for the money. Not that you necessarily need to spend $400, but better end glasses do offer something IMO.

    I agree with Tuba. I'm out in the sun a lot and the quality Oakley polarized lenses make a big difference. I have only had the Straight Jacket, other frames just don't suit my head, but I felt it was worth the money. At $140 I couldn't pass this up as in store here they cost $269.

    From my experience with pair of Polarized Oakley Dart's - wash them with freshwater EVERY time they go near saltwater. I did not and mine have ended up near unwearable due to what looks like pitting or small holes on the lenses. I rang Oakley Aust as I was not sure what had happened and I was told that as the polarization of their lenses is achieved via a coating on the lens itself, it can/will get "eaten" by salt and rinsing them in freshwater will prevent that. After that expensive experience, I now use Maui Jim glasses. They use a different technique where the polarization of their lenses is a actual layer built into the lens…. or so I believe. Either way I have not had the same problem.

      I kept my Oakley polarised Maddogs in their cover and didn't use as I wanted to keep them for special.

      Lens went the same way, worst hundreds I spent.

      My Maui Jims are great. Much, much more durable for the price.

      Oakleys = good for a season Maui Jim = good for life

    Thanks yws! I've wanted these oakley straight jackets for so long. And now I can finally get them for $150.90(USD) delivered!

    I've had $5 sunglasses all my life, and I can never see a bloody thing out of them. A friend made me try out her expensive ones, and I was amazed at how clear everything appeared and instantly how relaxed my eyes felt.

    This shall be my christmas present to myself. COUGH Along with my nexus 5, zelda, hushpuppies and 4KG of protein :D.

    Well my order still shows as waiting at some sorting depot in Chicago… Amazon said they are likely lost in transit and refunded me… Oh well, back to shopping!
