Hey guys,

Just did a new build on the weekend and condsidering selling my old build but not sure what it would be worth. Heres the specs:

Mainboard: GA-M750SLI-DS4 (link: http://www.gigabyte.eu/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2819&d… )
CPU: AMD Phenom Quad core 9950
RAM: DDR2 8GB @ 1066MHZ (X4 2GB)
VGA: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 550Ti
PSU: Cosair 750W
HDD: X2 500GB (Hardware RAID)
X1 1000TB (western digital 5400 RPM)
ODD: DVD Burner

2 1080p supported monitors as well, Both Fairly new

Just want a rough estimate on how much I should sell it for.

Will also be selling it on gumtree.

I'm hoping around 600, 700 mark

Comments

  • Need to tell us the size of the monitors

  • both 24 inch

  • eh.. $400?

    550ti isnt that good

  • Always hard to price a second hand computer when you could buy a new one for similar money(possibly excluding the dual monitors naturally)…… I fear if I was to bid for your computer I'd low ball it and accidentally offend you. I wonder if you might make more selling the monitors separately?

P.S I hope you get decent bidders though and not time wasters :)

    • But it has a 1000TB HDD! $600 is a bargain! ;-)

      • x2 500 raided into a 1tb and a second 1tb :P

        • Heh, I was referring to this:

          X1 1000TB (western digital 5400 RPM)

          But never mind.

        • Iam being reminded of the 120gb SSD in my cupboard I've never used…..sigh

  • $400 w/ one monitor
    550Ti is low mid-range now
CPU, ram and mainboard are crap
The rest of it might be good but overall it's a crap to average computer that's probably not as good as what centercom and budgetpc offer new for $500, and yours is used. The monitors would be worth the most but anyone buying that pc doesn't want two monitors so you should sell one separately.

    • That's why I Wondered if selling the monitors separate is better…. I mean alot would prefer either one or three depending on how they use the pc… and if They require a two or three screen setup, a more powerful computer would possibly be required. But thats just my opinion, I don't tend to buy second hand computers. Good luck OP!

  • You will have better luck parting it out. Post it to www.reddit.com/r/hardwareswap as well as /r/melbtrade if you're a redditor.
