    Hi ca6leguy - Smart PC is basically just Samsungs way to describe a product that can be either a laptop or a tablet, most manufacturers call them Hybrid :)

  Convertible PC and Tablet. I saw it today at DSE for $399 but I think is only the left over stock.

  Also the new ASUS Transformer Book T100 with Bay Trail CPU is only around $520. This Samsung is using the older and slower ATOM CPU but it is good if you want 11.6" instead to 10"

  Not the greatest deal considering TF810 (Same processor, active digitizer, aluminium body) was sold at $350 at Dick Smith a couple of months ago.

      It was available most places around Melbourne. (at the time obviously; it is currently discontinued).

    If they are all queued up to buy it, it would be in-order execution. Just like the atom cpu. Which is what makes it so freaking slow.

  I got this when it was 599

  Wonderful machine for school, every day computing, just don't even think about games and serious photo processing like running photoshop the like.

  Else doing Windows and office are way better than any netbook of the yester year.

  Windows 8.1 runs smoothly on it.

  You get to appreciate the windows tiles on this device, plus the pen is wonderful to work with in onenote and other apps that supports it.

  Sadly new gen model from other makers may have better CPU but don't have the digitiser pen.
