1580

Ferrero Rocher is a spherical chocolate sweet made by Italian chocolatier Ferrero SpA. Introduced in 1982, the chocolates consist of a whole roasted hazelnut encased in a thin wafer shell filled with hazelnut cream including vegetable oil and covered in milk chocolate and chopped hazelnuts. The sweets each contain 73 calories, and are individually packaged inside a gold-coloured wrapper. Rocher is a French word meaning "rock".

To keep with the traditions of a penny pincher… someone you hardly know/ not really care about = "no present for you!" (please read that in the soup nazi's voice)

Anyway, at least you're generous enough to give them stuff =)

    • Yes.

    • +3

      • don't forget to use your ING card!!!

Save ya money and buy Lindt balls instead. Much nicer…

    • +2

I ate too many once and have never been able to touch one again :-(

      • -4

No thanks, i prefer hairless balls

    • +1

some prefer nuts on the balls

    • The Lindt balls are just filled with a liquor-like Chocolate liquid; there's no satisfying crunch or layers inside them.

It feels like your mouth had an accident when you break one inside your mouth.

  • awesome gonna grab some

      • Ewl Tith, just Ewl!

TRS = Made in Italy and the Woolies ones are from Canada ?

      • +2

        What's the difference?

        • +2

I bought a couple of large packs that were made in Canada as opposed to Italy. Noticeably less nice tasting than the Italian-made ones. This was a couple of years ago - maybe they've improved by now.

    God food.

      Devils Food ;)

      • Only if you get one with a poisonous-tasting hazelnut. Only happened twice for me with Ferrero's, but even once was one too many!

  • I bit into one that had worms in it once.

    Never been the same :(

    • 8 0

      scratches them off shopping list

    • Please say it's not true…..

    • I eat them whole…..y u do dis?

    • Worm larvae in cheese is a delicacy to some people - the digestive juices from them eating the cheese intensifies the flavour. Maybe they were trialling it with your one ;)

    • +3

i've just eaten half a pack and no worms. so disappoint

Loaker Creme Noisette tastes almost like these and they are currently on special in Woolworths 2 for 4 bucks.

OP why do some of your deals have an actual picture from a catalogue ie https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/125991 whilst others have a picture of an item without a price ie this deal?

  • Been looking for ferrero garden only made in Germany, anyone wherle to buy in australia?

    • Kmart used to sell those, but it's been a while since I looked - and yes, I remember that they were made in Germany. I remember being surprised at the time.

  • These are yummy but one box is enough for the week between Christmas and New Year. I'm not sharing.

  • just managed to get the last one from my local W. It was left on another shelf at the other end of the supermarket :S
