40 Free Nespresso Pods with Purchase of 300 Pods

410

Hi there, first time posting please forgive any errors
Deal link is not to deal as I couldn't find it online
HOWEVER
I was just in the Nespresso store in Bondi Junction and took advantage of this deal for Nespresso Club Members
2 Free sleeves with the purchase of 15 sleeves, up to 4 free sleeves with the purchase of 30 sleeves
Each sleeve is 10 pods so 40 free pods for the purchase of 300 pods, or 20 free pods with purchase of 150 pods.

I was told that this deal is running all of December, and I got the impression you could string out the purchases (e.g. if you purchased 10 sleeves one day and 5 sleeves the next you will still be eligible)

You can purchase any pods however the free pods are limited to Kazaar, Dharkan, Ciocattino, Carmelito & Vanilio (the new additions to the permanent line)

Hope this helps someone!

Would be great to have some $ amounts in there mate! :)

Heh, indeed! It is slightly tricky because the sleeves cost different amounts depending on which ones you get, I can tell you that I spent $216.20 and got $32.40 worth of free pods, which works out to something like a 13% discount, it probably wouldn't be too hard to arrange it so you got a better discount, so long as you were willing to limit your choice of pods.

      • -1

Its 11.76 % discount regardless of the price you are paying for them.

        • Does it all have to be the same pods? If it doesn't then the discount changes…

    • I bought from the Sydney CBD store last month, and the prices for the Espresso sleeves were $6.80, whereas the Lungo sleeves were $7.30. I haven't tried their limited edition pods, so not sure how much they usually are.

Also free shipping on any size order online at the moment (no free pods)

Good deal for those not near a nespresso store (or ordering a smaller quantity)

    • And it is very easy not to live near a Nespresso store. I like their capsules, but they do make getting them too hard. Thanks for the heads up on the free delivery, just what I needed.

  • I may be mistaken, but I'm fairly sure it's in-store only….

    • Yeah, in boutiques only according to the email.

  • Can you also still get the pod holder with this deal?

  • dammit just bought a whole bunch mail order.

  • stack with AMEX bought westfields vouchers!

  • btw how do you become a Nespresso Club Member? is this a prerequisite for this deal?

    • first rule of Nespresso Club…

      • don't talk about _________ ____
        second rule of Nespresso Club…

    • Buy something and they'll sign you up george. Don't even need to have a machine.

  • I must say, that after 2 years of using nespresso capsules the Coles/Woolies ones are on par and readily available.

The ones dad bought from woolies taste like crap and I'm not even a serious coffee drinker.

      • After drinking all the nespresso capsules, 90% of them tasted like crap IMO, my wife and I settled for the Fortisso lungo.

Fortunately nespresso have the test bench.

        • Yup, agree although I wouldn't say crap, just not to my taste at all. Only one I particularly like is Arpeggio (purple). The rest are like most cafe coffee to me - a disappointment 90+% of the time.

    • My dad bought some coles ones and they almost taste like coffee if you use 2 of them. They are meant to be intensity 8 and when I tried using 1 it wasn't even close.

They are physically smaller so I expect there isn't as much coffee in them.

  • Does David Jones have pods?

    • no, they only sell the machines. they direct you to nespresso (at least at Bondi anyway)

  • Anyone partake on this deal ?

    • No, but i did on this one
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/120080

in summary…worst tasting coffee pods I have every had…pretty much 100 of them got binned and the other are saved for when I make a double pod drink before work (where one pod is the 'acceptable' pod and one a decent one)

    • Company posted sample of each flavour - so we had a coffee tasting morning.
Have since placed an order in time for Christmas @ 49c. (missed the black friday deal they had earlier @ 39c)

      Great taste, great customer service.

  • I just received a response from Nespresso via Twitter:

At any AU boutique buy 13+ sleeves & get 2 free or buy 10 sleeves & get 1 free

So looks like this is available at all boutiques in Australia but not online.

    • do you mean that if I buy just 13 sleeves and will get 2 free sleeves??thanks

      • According to Nespresso yes however seems like the retail stores are stating it's buy 15 get 2 free. It's a bit ambiguous. Maybe show them the tweet?

I checked instore today and the sales rep over the counter said it's Buy15 Get 2 Free. I even showed her the Tweet.

I stocked up on pods on Friday with this deal. As I was buying 30 sleeves I asked about the deal. They split the order in two lots of 15 sleeves so I could get 4 free sleeves. They also put the more expensive sleeves in as the free ones so I paid less.
