Why are all the budget PC deals are only from Victoria?

Give us some Sydney deals so that I can save on delivery!

I'm with you there! I would love to see some mobo+CPU/RAM deals….I really prefer to build my own…I never find pre-built systems with cases/cooling/PSUs that I would use

Would love to see some Perth deals. The lack of competition for these systems here is atrocious.

        +1,000,000

You Eastern States aristocrats already have enough deals as it is; we're just getting Win 2000 over here in Perth. I want a brand-spanking new Pentium III to go along with it.

Just check out Umart (Sydney - West Ryde), they have a special at the moment for free PC building if you buy all components from them.
      I ordered a i5-4440, 8GB kingston HyperX ram, Thermaltake V4 case + 500w PSU + Gigabyte B85 mobo, wifi card + 2 case fans for about $510 built & shipped!! :)

    • There was a nice budget machine from a Sydney shop last week.
I'm still waiting for one like this is Vic.

I really don't think 4GB of ram is enough these days.

For those people who wants to just use this for documents and web browsing it's too much of an overkill. Except the ram, 4GB will get chewed up very easily if you have a lot of tabs open and some other things running.

For those who want to use it for intensive tasks like photoshop, video editiing/encoding and/or gaming (with aditional video card) 8GB is the minimum these days.
