    I am interested in what kind of fuel promotions Coles/Wollies are going to do after 1/Jan/2014, since the fuel voucher will be limited to 4c/L only.
    Maybe in a reversed way, such as fill 50L of petrol in Coles Express and get a $10 voucher to be spent in Coles?

      This is possible, but the fuel company has to pay for it as the other arms cant subsidise the fuel coupons.

      they could offer extra cents off/L in exchange for rewards points. e.g. you used to be able to get another 4c/L off for 500 flybuys points but i can't see that anywhere on the flybuys website

        Its there still (well it was a couple days ago). The normal one I use is 10c/l off for 1000 points. I just search "coles" under search rewards

          Flybuys had to remove the "buy your own fuel voucher" reward when the ACCC got Coles and Woolworths to agree to not giving high value fuel vouchers as rewards after December 31.

          I've never used this reward before but my undestanding was that you redeemed your points for the extra 5cents or 10 cents fuel voucher and the next time you spent over $30 at Coles the voucher would be added to your docket/receipt.

          This means that someone could have redeemed this reward at the end of December and then the high value fuel voucher would have been printed on receipts after the 31st of December, thereby breaching the agreement. I guess flybuys removed the reward straight after the agreement in order to stop this happening.

          oh ok. i never used it either. perhaps they should have the system that ww's everyday rewards has, where the extra fuel discount is loaded onto your card for you to use straight away.
