  • It looks like I'll have to spend the $20 on popcorn because I've already got 1000 movie tickets from that Coles deal.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/125805

    • what did you end up buying to get the Coles movie deal? I got the soft drink which ended up costing me about $40 just to get two movie tickets.

you can use it with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/126453 and get $60 for $40

    • That is sold by experiencethis.com.au. Have you tried? If so, have you got the $10 statement credit from AMEX?

I did it a last month with amex and the $40 cards for $30 from experiencethis and got the $10 credit then.

        From the statement:

        EXPERIENCETHIS
        Entertainment -$10.00

        EXPERIENCETHIS
        SYDNEY
        2000

        Event Cinemas CR

i bought last month from experiencethis.com.au ($30 for a $40 gift card deal) and it worked. I got the $10 off from AMEX

      • It definitely worked last time. At the time of purchase, the statement credit was almost instantaneous.

However, I haven't seen anything come through this time around. I'm now wondering if ExperienceThis purchases no longer qualify.

        • Spoke too soon. I just received confirmation via e-mail that the credit will be processed within five business days.

    • isnt it still better to buy 3 x $20 for $30 than $60 for $40….

      • You only get back one $10 statement credit.

  • Signed up and bought the $60 gift card for $50.

Has anyone seen a signup for supplementary cards? In the amex portal it says to go to amexconnect.com.au for supplementary cardholders to signup but I don't see it there.

  • Is there a direct link for the Even Cinema offers? It's not showing up in my Velocity Amex card.

Is there a direct link for nine west, for bank issued cards?

Sorry if I am being naive.
It seems to me that lately there are too many of this "Activate Now" stuff,
    With Woolies, Coles, now Amex.
We are asked to click individually to each deal if we want to "participate".
There are so many cards, so many deals. How do you keep track and make sure you click them all??
    I wish it is set-up as a default…..

none of the Event Cinema gift cards can be used in Victoria and Tasmania?
What's the best way to use the Event Cinema offer for Victorian and Tasmanian? any suggestions?

    • Event Cinema website listed Moonlight Cinema is part of their franchise.

      • I can confirm that the transaction on my Amex showed as Moonlight Cinema rather than Event Cinemas so I am doubtful that the offer will apply, but I will let you know if I am pleasantly surprised!

  • Anyone know direct link for Nine West offer?

Here the offers page if anyone wants to check out what else is available.

  • I'm really liking the offers being built into the iPhone app where you can accept/save to your specific card on the spot!

  • How many times can we use this? Once per registered card?

    • I believe it's only one per customer. Once I accept an offer it no longer appears for any of my other cards on the app.

  • Has anyone managed to order an events gift card online? I can't seem to do it.
