Hi fellow ozbargainers,
I have got a stockland and waiting for the Westfields gift card, and I am assuming that there are few in the same boat. I am trying to maximize what I can do with them and I am looking forward to ideas.
For example there was a suggestion to get EB Vouchers, as they last long time, I am planning to buy a Wii U in the next 2 months, and I was thinking it would be best perhaps to get a Woolworth vouchers (as they are multipurpose), I can use them in Big W for the Wii or if not, I just use them for shopping.

I doubt you can buy Woolworths vouchers with your Shopping Centre vouchers.. Westfield Vouchers aren't accepted by the big guys, and I don't imagine the Stockland ones are either. It's only the poor independent stores that are forced to accept the Centre vouchers (as part of their Lease agreement).. I say "poor" cause it takes months for them to see the cash when you use them!
As always, my advice is to ask for cash (accepted anywhere and doesn't "expire") and don't buy Vouchers unless you're getting a discount. If you do ask for cash, make sure to tell the giver when you have spent their gift and identify to them what you bought with their gift (hopefully not, "I blew it all on the Pokies").
