  • not a bargain to me…

just grabbed 20 pcs AA Chevron Alkaline battery for $5.50…
    40 pcs would be $5.50 x 2 = $11

    • Chevron being Woolies I believe…..FYI to anyone wondering :)

    • Bunnings cheaper for some name brands
      Varta 30 Pack $8.98 ($5.98 per 20 or $11.97 for 40)

  • I did grab a few when they had free shipping last week..

These batteries are very bad landfill. Toxic to the environment.
If you need and use a lot of batteries, buy eneloop when they are on sale.
And a point of advice, dont ask people to like/upvote in your post, this is not facebook.

  • great deal, and +1 for the OP's editorial for those who might want to buy/need more than one pack!

  • My experience of these deals is that there are always one or more batteries that are dead in the pack. They must be seconds or something. Also, Eneloops on special are much better value.

I have had too many genuine Duracells leak. I don't touch them any more.
