Just doing the last min Xmas shopping. EB have released preorders not picked up. I managed to sweet talk the manager to throw in a second DS for 65 as well.

I'm confused. Why aren't people tearing into this deal? Especially with PS4's flooding gumtree for about $700. Anyway, just called them up. Guy who picked up said there should be about 5 left.
I assume becuase it's just at once location and therefore only applies to a small percentage of members, but yes a great deal :)

You'd be pretty pissed off if you pre-ordered a PS4 for the kids and planned to pick it up on Xmas Eve, only to find it had been sold on Dec 23….

They are pre-orders are usually only held for 24 hours. If they've held it for this long, that's pretty damn good of them.
EB Games in Galeries Victoria Sydney was also advertising PS4s available in store today. Saw it lunchtime, took pic with my phone.
Didn't have time to go on & ask for more info though. Maybe these were uncollected preorders too…
JB HiFi holds preorders for 1 week (according to the txt I got to collect mine last week.
EB holds vary depending on your member level. If you aren't a member (or are a basic one) it's 24hrs
Would they hold them longer if you rang up and asked them to I wonder under layby or some such…
