Ugh, that's annoying. I was seriously about to plonk $329 down on something I didn't need. They were that close!
Free shipping would have sealed the deal for me. $33.99 shipping for me.
Think I will just wait for the new Nexus 10 to be released instead.
You know whats the worst part? This morning when I saw the deal it was marked as Free shipping. I wasted time and guess what… no free shipping anymore. Now just as a way of protest i dont want to buy it. Saves me $370 i guess.

Actually they do have return shipping for faulty items which was nice.

@ilovekogan , i would like to explain here that i hardly get influenced by negative comments here on Ozbargain, nor do i get indulged in flame wars. getting negatively criticized here for my personal opinion is least of my worries.
i have so far made 3 purchases on Kogan.
my first purchase was of nexus 7, made on 12/09/2012 the website was showing stock when i placed order. but i received an email on 12/12/12.
Due to global shortage in supply of the Google Nexus 7 (16GB) that you have purchased, we unable to fulfill your order for this product.
the second purchase was a kogan mobile sim card, i received an email after 3-4 days and was asked to send the shipping address which i had entered in the first place.
They the day they were supposed to ship the product i received the email stating.
Due to provisioning delays caused by the network operator, we are unable to ship your Standard/Mini/Micro SIM Starter Pack - Kogan Mobile on time.
my 3rd and most recent purchase was last week where i bought Qi Wireless charger for Nexus.
I was hesitant to buy this time but have received the product on time and i am satisfied with the product. This purchase has switched my experience with Kogan from negative to neutral.
