It already started. A vacuum I was looking at 12 hours ago is now 50% higher in price now.

        Thats a lot of jacking!

        • Is Jacks included in sale?
May be only for their use, not for sale

          • -1

            @Wiser: Thanks… Now I have a craving for a double whopper

          • @Wiser: No, im not for sale 😭

      • +1

Thanks for pointing that out. Jacking is not acceptable behaviour

      • -3

@swamp potato - Do you please have the link to the vacuum that went up 50%?

      • +3

So 10% off 50% increase is what? like 35% price hike? Maybe change title to 35% increase on everything sale! Hope it was just an error!

      • Which vaccuum?
Need to see if theres an archive of the old page price cos a 50% hike right before a sale is worthy of an ACCC report

      • +1

        That really suxs

      Hi JV,

we understand the concern, but we want to reassure you that no prices were increased before this sale. Our 10% discount is genuine, and we remain committed to fair and transparent pricing.

  • +18

It seems the prices have already gone up ahead of the 10% code
U7 Pro at $368, so when you take 10% off, it's their everyday standard full price
    no deal :/

  • -1

Do I need to create account for the code to work? without logging in random tried a MB, I got:
The coupon code isn't valid. Verify the code and try again.

    • The sale starts at 5pm AEST. Can also stack with 1% cashback with TopCashback.

      • +1

Thx silly me as usual, got too excited and never read the full conditions

  • Sorry but everything is still more expensive than competitors.
If it wasn't TA, I would have down voted this "deal" already.

        https://www.costco.com.au/Electronics/Mobile-Phones/iPhones/…

It's $2200 at Costco, price beat at OW makes it down to $2090.
then pay with 10% gift card from Coles this week.=$1881
        Cheaper than $2349*0.9=$2114.1 :)

        • +6

No, I tried that. OW no longer price beats Costco. It's in their updated terms :(

What is excluded from the Price Beat Guarantee?

          • Gift cards.
          • Cashback and coupon offers (i.e. supplier cashback or reduced price available via paper coupon or electronic codeword).
          • Commercial quantities and pricing (i.e. a reduced price not available to the public and including Apple Reseller Education pricing).
          • Stock liquidations (i.e. competitor clearance products or goods sold by a business placed into receivership).
          • We reserve the right to limit sales to reasonable retail quantities.
          • Paid membership-based pricing.
          • @tightarse: Oh that's something new. I didn't know that.
Try this one then, it's $8 cheaper than OW
            https://hub.triforce.com.au/product/iphone-16-pro-max-512gb-…
It's the same SKU+free shipping, they have no reason to decline PB request.

(Even if they do, $2247*0.9 = 2022.3, still $90 cheaper than mobileciti)

            • @dyziplen: Probably the iPads. That was a fun ‘war’ last month

              • @rpb: Yeah, iPads probably was flying out the door. Bought an iPhone Pro Max after the second drop. Lol.

Taking us for fools on your birthday ? Well no cake for yous.

    • -6

  • +16

Yep I had a drone in cart and it went up $100 from yesterday :(
    Definitely Jack is around

    • +5

Yeah. The price at the moment also way too much. I have been hunting eufy floodlights for 3 months now, and I checked their price is too much. No deal at all!

      • Hi

Thanks for your feedback! We totally understand where you're coming from. We regularly review our pricing to stay as competitive as possible, and from time to time, some promotions are supported by vendors—similar to what you'd see at major retailers like JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, or Officeworks. After these promos end, prices may return to their normal levels.

  • +1

@AHUANG Happy 26th Birthday! Were some items on sale before and now back to their regular prices? Maybe there's a confusion between the end of a sale cycle with price jacking.

Would be good to find a discounted item to stack with the 10% off and 1% cashback from TopCashback.
Do you have suggestions of some bargains please? Thanks.

    • +2

      Hi trixieb

Thanks for asking—and great question! 😊 I’m currently going through our list and will definitely be sharing some deals I believe are both good value and popular picks.

Also, if there’s any item you’re interested in and you notice a price gap, feel free to share it with me. I’m more than happy to review it with our product team and vendor to see if we can bring the price down to the lowest possible.

Appreciate your support—and great tip on stacking with cashback too! 🙌

    • +13

Maybe there's a confusion between the end of a sale cycle with price jacking.

Kogan got some huge ACCC fines for doing just that…

That is literally the definition of price jacking…

@tightarse - is top cashback coming to the birthday party with higher rebates??

    • Dare I say 26% rebate for a 26th birthday?

  • @AHUANG - when is the ecovacs x9 omni coming to Australia?

Looks like MobileCiti listings are tracked on Price Hipster (https://pricehipster.com/) so perhaps any suspicions/claims of price jacking can be interrogated that way…

    • no need i seriously had the the dji mini 4 pro fly more combo and plus in cart waiting for the sales.
go look up in amazon mobileciti store dji mini 4 pro fly more combo still cheaper than their official website….

        • +8

They basically increased their price for this product just before this 10% sale to their highest price for 2025…

So even after the 10% off, you are paying around $80 (5%) more than what you would have yesterday…

      • Hi jv,

Thanks for providing the example. If you check other retailers you’ll see that the promotion has ended across multiple channels — not just at Mobileciti.

I hope you can understand that there was no plan or intention to raise prices ahead of this sale.

I got excited, ready to make a purchase.
Then saw that their iMac prices are already higher than every other store (1953 vs 1877)
Discount is still not bad but a shame they weren't competitively priced to begin with.

Beware that when there's any issues with the items, they make it very difficult to return and refund. The product specifically must have a manufacturer's defect for them to approve the return. If it's only because the product doesn't work as intended, e.g. not as per description or not working for you due to compatibility issues (even though it's clearly should be compatible from the description), they would not accept it.

First you need to ship the product to them at your own cost, then they will inspect and test (with their own equipments). If the product is working fine on their test (even though it may not match your own equipments) then they will ship the item back to you, again at your own cost.

    • Hi tukanglistrik

Sorry to hear about your experience — that’s definitely not the kind of service we aim to provide. If you don’t mind, could you please PM me your order number or RMA details? I’d be happy to take a look into it personally and see what went wrong.

We do follow standard procedures for returns, but we always try to handle each case fairly — especially if there’s a product or compatibility issue. Happy to help get this sorted for you.

      Thanks!

      • I'll send you the RMA details via PM.

To be clear, I've already received the refund, but not without a good fight, going back and forth for almost a month to the point that I would lodge a formal complaint. The item price itself was not significant (less than $50) so not sure why it was such a big hassle. Initially I wanted to get a replacement but then opted for refund instead because I didn't want to deal with it any further.
