List of full-length IMAX feature films - according to Wikipedia. AUS ~ USA.

    I, Frankenstein January 24, 2014 In 3D. Released in IMAX Digital only.[87]
RoboCop February 7, 2014 Released in IMAX Digital only.[88]
300: Rise of an Empire March 7, 2014 In 3D.[89]
    Divergent March 21, 2014 [90]
    Noah March 28, 2014
    Transcendence April 18, 2014 [91][92]

    Notes;
Remember there is a small booking fee, which is unavoidable unless you physically book the ticket ahead of time at the IMAX front counter.
IMAX tickets require booking as all good seats tend to fill up.
Normal discounted tickets for Greater Union/Hoyts are >$10, however IMAX is well-worth the extra $5, especially if you haven't gone before. The Sydney screen is the biggest in the world.
Evening parking near Sydney can be cheap/free.

    • The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, is currently screening and covered.
Coupons are also valid for all IMAX films, which are hi-res documentaries with a 45min running time.

      • Sorry, probably not for Hobbit since it won't still be playing.
        Valid from: 23 Jan 2014
        Valid to: 24 Apr 2014

  • Transcendence, 300 :-)

  • IMAX Sydney doesn't screen IMAX Digital movies.
$13 is great value because IMAX Sydney is breathtaking with its 35x30m screen, but none of those movies are enough to warrant a visit as it should be reserved for top tier movies or if it's free.

  • R any of these movies rated G?

    • +1

I've checked the ratings, and all the IMAX movie are rated PG-13 minimum, since they're all action-adventure.
      IMAX documentaries are all G.
Aside: Disney's Frozen (G) on normal cinema looks good.

  • Good deal, just bought two, thanks Op

  • Apologies to mods, I reported this deal as being expired but it is still going on here:
