  • is there any limit per day or per promotion period for ikea gc?

    • 5 GCs per day and 50,000pts flybuys for the period.

      • thx mate

  • Anyone know what the largest denomination is for Ikea GCs?

    • It should be $200.

(I think Coles only sells $100 and $200 denominations.)

      • Cool, and the 20x flybuys will apply for the $200 denomination as well?

        • +1

          It should, because:

          • There is nothing in the title nor terms of this deal to say the $200 denomination is excluded. In the previous week's deal, the $30 denomination was excluded and the terms explicitly mentioned this.

          • The terms mention $200 = 4,000 Flybuys points, and the only gift card in this deal sold in a $200 denomination should be the IKEA gift card.

          • If you search for IKEA on the Coles app, the search results should return both the $100 and $200 denominations of IKEA gift cards. Both these results have a Flybuys symbol next to the gift card image, which refers to a Flybuys promotion. I am not aware of any other Flybuys promotion on IKEA gift cards, so it should be referring to this deal.

          • @WookieMonster: I went to coles today and there are 2 cards type for ikea ($100, $200) but promotion label is only on $100 and advertisement as well, so checked with staff and they said only $100 one will be applied but she might not know well so have a double check before you buy.

@kami: In-store staff have no idea. The $200 IKEA gift cards are 100% included.

      • +1

I can confirm my local Coles only sells $100 and $200 denominations.

  • Be careful with Luxury Escapes. They have a limit of $1500 of gift cards to be used on the website.

    • Is that new? I remember paying nearly $2000 by gift card last year

      • +1

Luxury Escapes changed their gift card terms and conditions earlier this year to include the following clause:

        1.2. Exclusions

        h. The maximum redemption value for Gift Cards not purchased directly through the Website is limited to $1,500 per order.

I do not have an exact date for when this change happened, but I think this is the first deal where the change was first discussed on OzBargain.

How much is the max value for IKEA gift card?

  • i just bought 1000 ikea gc ytd but no bonus points received yet (only 1000 basic points). does it need to wait?

    • Same for me… no bonus points yet

    • same here

      • jsut received the bonus points!

    • Same.. just the basic points, no bonus points yet.

    • +2

This is normal because Flybuys points do not credit instantly. If you're lucky you'll get them all the next day at around 5-6pm but often the bonus points lag behind the standard points by a few days.

    • Just received the bonus points

    • +1

just received the bonus points. which is 2 and a half day later LOL

    • +1

      Received mine too

  • +1

Same here. Bought $500 on Wednesday. Not sure how long, but would think a few days or more. Anyone with experience on these kind of promos?

  • +1

Woolworths can credit points instantly (they even show up on the self-checkout when you're paying) so why is it so hard for coles

Previous coles experience is that base and bonus all credit together 2 days later, so not sure why the base points are crediting separately this time
