Managed to score one from the Glendale NSW store, even though the EB website said that the only store which had stock around Newcastle and Hunter region was Charlestown.

So for those still chasing this deal, don't trust the availability reported on the EB website. Phone around and you might get lucky (headphone-wise anyway).

Damn that's cheap. Got one for $90 on the bay about 2 years back. Should note that there's an annoying hiss that you can't get rid of. Apparently existent in all wireless headsets.

Found a pair at Doncaster store and collected them yesterday. Couldn't find any close to home. thanks for that tip. Am hoping to restore domestic harmony and get deaf husband to use them while watching TV so I can listen to normal volume. Was assured that this usage was possible. now to find out how to make it work! thanks again and salesperson guessed that info had come from this site. JoyV
