After reading review on Amazon, it is a great unit but I want 2 in 1.
Handheld rugged GPS that I can use in car with turn by turn navigation and while hiking.
The problem is that Magellan or Garmin(Etrex range) still charge heaps of money for maps.

That redemption only gives great maps for traveling off the road. It is extra $99 to get a turn by turn for Aus cities. Also 510 does not have an electronic compass.

Same thing for Garmin Etrex 30, if you want driving with it you pay extra for maps.
It is like 5 years ago they charged for maps for every GPS unit.
Now you can get free lifetime maps with $70+ GPS.
