Just ensure you request AUST POST delivery and not the default Couriers Please (unless you enjoy experiencing frustration and courier hate).

CP are just awful - uneducated/inexperienced drivers, extremely slow delivery times, no call centre number, online tracking is useless.

If you aren't in a hurry, don't mind waiting and then arranging redelivery as the driver speeds off while you get off the toilet to answer the door, then free is free.

Shopping Express would be wise to stop using CP, as it also tarnishes their reputation/service. There is little point having good prices if you can't get the stuff competently delivered by people who can read and write English, and don't look/smell like they live in their car.

+1 for Couriers Please being absolutely f#$%ing useless.

Couriers in general are a PITA… aust post no fuss.

Couriers Please = the inspiration for the tv series Swift and Shift Couriers

ShoppingExpress, please use the number of + votes on the above comments as motivation to never use couriers please again. They are the only negative aspect of dealing with OzBargain's store rep of the year. :)
Apparently Fastway are pretty dodgy as well.

        • too right.. well I haven't had to return anything yet so yet to see how ShoppingExpress handles returns BUT Couriers Please is pretty dodgy, I assume we don't need to elaborate on why as I suspect many people have had the same dramas with them. Love the reference to Swift and Shift.. guess I think they might have been inspiration for the series.

    • I think Aust. Post still very slow in term of delivery speed, my M&S (UK) order on 26/12 arrived this morning, that's a reasonable speed.

      • yeh, can be a little slow but as long as you have tracking (tracking is a must otherwise expensive looking unmarked items magically disappear due to 5 finger discounting at their depo here in Vic) With tracking I find the items get there in the end and worst case you had to go to a local post office (randomly selected) to get it yourself.. Could be better service.. but could be a LOT worse (i.e. Couriers Please or TNT)

    • I've had to deal with Courier Please recently, when my Nexus 4 needed to be RMAed and Google has instructed me to send it back to them via CP. On the day I booked the courier, nobody arrived. I rebooked the next morning and the dispatch reassured me that someone will be at my house before 5pm to pick it up. Nobody came, and I was about to go out for the night when a guy showed up at 6:30pm. When he got my package he had some trouble with scanning the RMA barcode I printed, so I told him to just type in the consignment number into his PDA. He had the audacity to tell me that he didn't have time for it as he was on a tight schedule.

If I had paid for that courier out of pocket myself, I would have made a huge stink about it and demanded a refund for such an unprofessional service.

    • Oh man you have no idea how much I started to worry after reading this and all those reviews. Bought a tablet and chose them as they were the cheapest delivery option. Luckily I had no issues with delivery. Sent from NSW on Monday and arrived earlier today. Got lucky and got a good driver.

Note: even the most expensive delivery method is free. So make sure you pick the best, fastest method available(with insurance).

  • Samsung 840 pro 128GB for $138 is almost cheapest on staticice too (so cheapest with free shipping, I guess).

  • They are using fast way, the 159 sandisk 256 I m got was shipped with fast way. I got another 256 sandisk a few weeks back with 159 plus shipping. That came with aus post.

That sandisk model aint bad according to online reviews, great for raid 0

On the email I received, it shows the Samsung EVO 120GB SSD for $99… then with "free shipping", it's $104.

    • Last week was $99 with free shipping, before that is $100.74 with free shipping plus a free steelseries mousepad. I bought the later one.

  • Samsung EVO 500GB: I'm seeing shipping charges on both the product page and in the checkout.

Edit: either someone just fixed it or it's buggy, had to change shipping methods a few times before it finally decided to discount the shipping.

    • Bought the 500GB EVO with $29.95 free shipping so it's definitely working.

  • cheers op

  • Is e-parcel faster or Auspost Courier? e-parcel is most expensive
