How to buy on international websites?

So I really wanted this bag from Bloomingdales (on sale) and it's not available here, where I then get it forwarded. I'm a student with a casual job so I don't know if I can apply for a 28degrees card. I've bought from Bloomingdales before with my normal card but my recent purchases has failed and they wanted a local card. What can I do?

  • Hi its easy to use BONGO https://bongous.com/index.php they will buy and ship to u

  • Go to Citibank and sign-up for their free bank accounts, the Visa-debit has the same benefits as the 28degrees card.

  • A 28 degrees card is still not a "local card", it'll be the same as any other debit or credit card issued here, so I don't think it'd solve your problems. What you probably need is a mail forwarder.

(Not an expert, so might be wrong, but that's how I understand it).

  • Bloomingdale's <—- this website here? They certainly ship to Australia and take Australian credit card. When you say "normal card" you mean a debit card with VISA or MasterCard?

  • Shipito does assisted shopping (with forwarding) service also.

However, it is best to sort out the card issue with Bloomingdale. Generally, if the site is willing to ship to Australia, that's the best option to take. Forwarders with assisted purchase is time consuming and cost more (sometimes a lot more).
