  • price?

  • Must have been some pretty old stock…

  • In stock (4220). But I don't think this is a bargain. It's i5 but it's 2nd gen, and the onboard graphics aren't great.

I looked at few reviews on amazon, i couldn't find the exact model, but it seems that Lenovo 520 and 530 are very poor quality. I strongly suggest you avoid it.

@ $405 delivered, pretty good price but there is a known E520 EEPROM failure That you might want to weigh up before hitting this.

    • Thanks for the info. I was tempted but after reading the link, I'm staying away.

Reminded me of my Dell XPS motherboard issue… The reason why I'm never buying a Dell again, or any premium priced PCs for that matter.

    • nice research +1

    • Just to add to this, I bought 3 machines just over 2 years ago for myself and family and have not seen this EEPROM issue, all going strong, apart from a faulty trackpad (wine spill, it don't work no more!, and 1 of them has been blue screening of late when connecting to internet but I believe that's related to users behaviour, rather than hardware.

I think this is a good price for specs, if still available.

  • says temporarily out of stock

  • doesnt sound like a bargain. If you consider the age (2nd gen i5) and the price as well as the chunkyness of the laptop, imo its expensive for what its worth. Youre better off spending a little bit more and getting one of these current acer 4th gen i5s from msy

Sorry, still not ready for a new Lenovo deal
Painful memories of their previous fail are strong

    • Never Forget.

      • But in this case Lenovo is not the seller…..I think your comments are similar to being annoyed with (hypothetical) MSY regarding something Centrecom has done

  • Even one left in QLD sold out. I have just been told by call centre

  • +1

    Lenovo HEADACHE…..not again

  • Had my E520 for 2.5years and still going strong. No problems whatsoever

  • Edge series for that price isn't much bargain.

  • was confused as good reviews in google;-
