  • Store already has good prices (but always check with staticice) and this'll be particularly bargain-ish with large objects like cases and monitors and cheap items that would otherwise be expensive with shipping.

    Very handy.

EDIT I strongly advise against the 750W PSU though. I'd be astounded if it could output more than 400W with practical noise/ripple levels.

  • Love the free shipping - already took advantage of this for some memory and a HDD a couple of weeks ago.

Can you share any details on the PSU - what are the Amps output on each of the 3.3V, 5V and 12V Rails?

looked at the power supply.. need to know more, especially warranty.
Bought lots of stuff from 9289 in last week, great service, especially free shipping :-)

This is a duplicate post though (free shipping)

None the less I think it qualifies as a bargain!

    cheers

  • 9289 does not accept Paypal which makes me reluctant. I want to get their Acer 24'' LCD but… Gonna have a look at MSY in the weekend then.

    • With paypal fees as high as they are i can understand why they do not accept it.

A credit card merchant account with a real bank is much cheaper.

Paypal even charge a fee if you were to pay with a bank deposit.
If you simply paid with a direct deposit into 9289's account there would be no fees incurred by them.

I can personally say i have purchased goods through 9289 using my credit card and have been more than happy

      • thanks for your advice. Probably i will pay with bank deposit then.

Sorry, but as mikafamily and battler observed above, this is a duplicate posting.
You really do need to check 1st, and not just tick the "I confirm that this isn't a duplicate" box.

Re payment. I have used both direct debit and credit card ( 3% surcharge ). They acknowledge direct debit quickly and so far I have had 4 smooth transactions. I live in Central Victoria and we seem to pay 10%-20% more for the same thing. MSY is cheap but 150km away and they don't deliver (at all).

I agree duplicate posting. still need more info on power supply.

    cheers all

    Steven
