Spotted walking through the recently revamped Woodgrove Shopping Centre a small sign INSIDE the Reading Cinema (and facing backwards away from the public - go figure) that
* all 2D movies are $10 and
* all 3D movies are $12
The venue has had a makeover with the centre's massive expansion. For the rest of non westie-Melbournians, it's the last big shopping centre on Melbourne's outskirts before you see the next one in Ballarat (can't say much for those bragging rights).
Confirmed with a manager that it's a special price for the school holidays, but likely, to extend into early February.
Does not appear to be advertised on the Reading Cinema website, but when purchasing e-tickets, Frozen 2d came up as $10 (+ the $1.50 charge)…
Bargain for the kids!
It was meant to be until the end of January :) I've been making the most of it (otherwise I use the Telstra $10 reward tickets, but I have to drive to Werribee or Sunshine then, they're the closest to Melton).
For those that live out of Melton and can get cheap Telstra or Optus tickets to their usual cinemas, it's not worth the drive :)
If only Reading cinema kept that price, or were a part of those cheap ticket deals (Telstra rewards etc!), then I'd go to my local cinema far more often!
