Bose Solo was that price Christmas '12. If any of the rest of that stock interests fellow ozbargainers make sure you call ahead. Some stores never stocked some of it, eg. environmental speakers.

Get the UE Boom. So much better and cheaper
Better? So much? Hmm..
Fair call. Its not THAT much better in terms of sound quality but it definitely is a lot cheaper, sturdier, water resistant and has more 'surround' sound because of the tube design, no distortion at high volumes, ability to 'double up' with another UE boom and has better battery life. For around $170 the UE boom is the better choice in my opinion.

I think probably to get rid of old stock. The new Bose soundtouch stuff is coming through, and Bose link no longer exists on the new products.
