Walked into JB today and it was advertised on the shelf as '$218.00 as per catalog' although I cannot find the catalog or this price advertised online. I asked some in store where the catalog is and they said they are between catalogs.The link I have provided does not show the current in store advertised price. Great to improve TV sound but also stream music through from your phone.

I bought one of these about a month ago for $285 from JB and I'm really happy with it.
I've heard big brand $1000 sound bars that were terrible. Laptops sound better. This would be $218 thrown down the toilet imo.
really?? not as good as laptop speakers , which ones?
Can't remember the brand. Yamaha/Pioneer/Onkyo. It kept fighting with the sub, trying to play tricks with sound. Horrendous. Alternated between all sound mumbling out of the sub, to a tinny mess out of the soundbar.
I believe the sound quality of sound bar definitely cannot compete with a same level home theater system. But a $1000 SB even worse than laptop that's really surprising.
