    Freaking america! Come on SCEE!

  • Just to check, is sly copper cross buy? If so, would you have to format the vita every time when switching memory cards with different regions?

    • The US store page doesn't say it's cross buy, can someone else could confirm if it is ?
But yes you have to format the memory card to change region

      • Edit: but if you have two memory cards you only need to format the vita. Sorry only just reread your comment.

    • Only if you buy the PS3 version.

    • It'd be easier to just buy a second memory card, rather than formatting one each time you want to change region.

      • Isnt it more than just another mem card. Dont you have to factory reset the VITA each time you swap?

        • Yes. You can reset and format, or you can reset and switch cards. PITA.

anyone know how i can get a us playstation+ trial?

    • Don't know if you can. A trial usually requires a credit card which they don't bill until 30 days, but they won't accept an AU credit card. However I'm told AMEX works.

I had a trial code that came with my US PS4 which I couldn't use because it was for new members only. I gave it to a fellow Ozbargainer and told him to reply to me to let me know if it worked but he never got back to me.

  • sweet, gonna get killzone had 14$ in my US wallet as well

  • For someone with no PSN purchases, but who owns a vita and PS3..

What PSN membership should I sign up for? It almost looks like I should get a US account and forget EU & AU.

I cant be bothered formatting a vita over and over (although I'm happy to have two memory cards). And I'm not sure if I'll have VPN or credit card issues with America PSN? Also I'll never be a PS+ member so variations in the free game list isn't important to me.

    • to get credit for us psn you need to buy cards through amazon
to watch movies over psn you need to use a vpn,
not sure if you need a dns unblocker (as i have unblock us for netflix anyway), but im pretty sure game downloads will work without a dns hack anyhow

      • The US PSN store accepts aussie AMEX cards.

Games don't require VPN to download or play.

I would get US version if you actually intend to make purchases. If you're only after the freebies, AU is slightly better.

  • $9, laughable.

  • Amazing deals. I'm going to buy quite a few of these.

  • Oh goodness, you scared the hell out of me. I thought you were trying to say it was $9 for the first Killzone.

  • Thanks OP, bought Limbo, Puppeteer, Rain and The Wolf Among Us (liked the demos). Still on the fence with Deus Ex: Director's Cut.
