Have a problem with the receiver on my iphone 4 and it is still under the apple warranty, how do I get it fixed if the nearest Apple store is more then an hour away? Should I post it (with insurance)?? Is driving there the only option? thanks

I used this and it was all fairly straight forward. The post office does seem to take a few days to get it off to Apple, so in all I think my phone was gone for something like 10 days. The alternative for me though was the local store that took 6 months to replace my daughter's iphone 4.
In most cases, Apple will replace it with brand new phone. For me personally, that's probably worth the 1 hour drive while catching some lunch etc near the area.
Apple are no longer replacing with refurbished (like new) phones. They are now repairing on site.

I recall being emailed a document with postage details and all I had to do was print it out and hand it in with defective ipad to the post office.
Otherwise you can try calling their tech support line and see what options they can offer. :)
