Actually the controller from Dick Smith is $79.98 as indicated on the Dick Smith website. But your argument is flawed in the assumption that Big W is selling the controller in the bundle at full price which they're not. The game is not full price now either you can pick the game up at Dick Smith for $39.98.
Look the game itself is even only $44 from Big W. This game has really had a drop in price.

Think this was 105 or something recently at bigw, so for a controller and game for $78 seems like a great price.
Yes because Gran Turismo 6 has taken a big drop in price in the past few weeeks. No more is it $80+ it's more like $40-44 price now.

For those following just how cheap GT6 is now.
A controller costs at least $55 AUD online pretty much anywhere (inc shipping in a best case scenario) - never seen them cheaper than $55 to your door.
Arguably, this is a copy of GT6 for $28, if you could somehow get $55 for your new controller (or maybe you need one)
This is still $18 too much for GT6 though.
