JB's 15% sale on cameras is on again, been camping out websites for a good price on a Canon 6D body.

Be aware that the tax invoice needs to be dated on or before 31 Jan 2014 to be eligible for the $200 cashback (the JB sale ends on 27th Jan anyway)

Called a few stores this morning saying no stock in WA, except Carousel which had 2. On top of that the sales guy reduced the price to $1600 pretty readily when I asked for the best price. Didn't do as well as this chap https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/128160 but still a good price regardless. When I walked out of the Carousel store 7:30pm Thu night they still have 1 left.

If you have no luck getting stock, the Perth City JB did say that as long as you place an order before sales end on Mon they will honor the price, just that you need to wait about 2 weeks for the delivery to come in from Canon. Otherwise you can order online and add $9.95 for shipping.

If you are traveling within 60 days of purchase you can claim the GST back via TRS to achieve even more savings.

    I got mine for $1550 from JB back in November from a similar sale.

    Just claimed my TRS back, making it about $1209 after cashback.

    Excellent camera. Definite improvement over my 5D MkII. Works wonders with my Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art lense.

        TRS=Tourist Refund Scheme. You have to travel overseas and when you finish immigration, there is a TRS counter where you take your receipt, item and claim!

      No Aussie Stock can claim $200 cash back from Canon before end of the month.

    You can ask JB to order these in for you at this price. The invoice date has to be by 31st Jan 2014, but I understand claim date is 14th March, so time up your sleeve if you need to enter camera specific details.
