      Again we are Sydney based company and unfortunately, Courier companies refuse to deal with bulky items. We have been working hard to get the items deliveried to other states at affordable price but so far we haven't found the solution yet or the courier company who is willing to take on the job.

    We are Sydney based thats why it says delivery to Sydney metro only. Although, we can provide delivery quote to Brisbane (via Toll IPEC) but the price they are providing is too expensive and the other Courier companies simply refuse to deal with bulky items. Hope you'll understand.

  The name is fine but I am confused as to the name also. What makes a Brisbane sofa bed. I live in Brisbane and don't have a sofa like this. Is it named after Sir Thomas Brisbane did he have this style of sofa in the 1820? or perhaps you are implying that people need this in Sydney so if someone from Brisbane visits that they will feel closer to home?

  Too many questions but your answers would be appreciated.

    I'll do my best to answer your question. We all know from history that Sir Thomas Brisbane was an avid Astronomer. However, according to a legend, during the nights cataloging the stars, he would fall asleep on his favourite chair only to wake up with sore neck. One night when he fell asleep he dreamt about a chair which would fold and become a bed. So the next day, he quickly came up with the blueprint and commissioned to build one. Some say, Sir Thomas Brisbane's design featured folding arm rest to act as a pillow to avoid sore neck. This is the earliest record in history of sofa beds. Even though design of our Brisbane sofa bed is very modern, we believe that it bears a lot of resemblance to Sir Thomas Brisbane's original design. Hence, the name Brisbane. :)

    Besides I liked the way you said it, when people visit someone from Brisbane, they will be comfortable, cozy and feel closer to home while resting on our Brisbane sofa bed. :)
