I'm gonna take a guess and say this SEGA 'wheel' is just a plastic attachment to the Dualshock 3 controller and doesn't add any functionality (correct me if I'm wrong). The GT wheel is an actual steering wheel.

Lucky kids. Teaching them the value of the dollar and teaching them about price movements (and limited and wise resource usage) and how prices relate to supply and demand.
Age of the game is irrelevant to kids who aren't addicted to new release mania. An entertaining game is an entertaining game, regardless of age.

Also, I wonder how many times you checked the price of this in game in-store at Big W until the price went down, and was the time/effort of checking constantly really worth saving $12?

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with this bargain. If it sucks, start contributing and see how much work prolific bargain-hunting (or even once-in-a-blue-moon bargain-hunting) can be.

Sure, but you don't know that BigW was visited every day, do you? And even if it was, what is the problem? I'm glad we have contributors acting as virtual shopping assistants telling us what may be of interest that we have missed. After reading this I said to myself that I have to scan a few things I find in BigW next time I'm in there, 'cause I never find good stuff. I am amazed at the stuff people find going cheap that isn't highlighted anywhere else.
If you don't like the deal, maybe next time? I still think posts like this deserve far more credit than what they get, and I can totally understand if people feel their work is underappreciated.

haha, yeah i was trying to ask nicely if people are just giving positives without knowing if it is just a random one off item or if it can actually be found in a considerably amount of stores with stocks at those prices….
just FYI you probably got the wrong game…sonic and sega all stars transformed is the good version
As the owner of both versions, they both have their pros and cons with Transformed being the better version… though, they did over do some features in Transformed making the game tedious at times. Both are still good. The original is much easier to pick up as a party game, and unlocking things is easier too. Both have got a good selection of tracks.
Transformed has got the references to Golden Axe, Outrun and Shinobi whilst the original has got the Phastasy Zone ship. Neither version has Toe Jam and Earl or Wonderboy with they sorely need to fix with the next version. A balance of tracks which are straight karting and the transforming tracks would be good too in the next version.
