Free Copy of GT6 When You Buy an Logitech Driving Force GT or Logitech G27 @ DSE

90

It's a decent deal if your a racing fan that needs a wheel while wanting to buy GT6 as well.
Would be great if you could price match JBHIFI($149) or Logitech shop($99) on the Driving force GT which would make this offer more attractive.

Dicksmith:Driving force GT = $179
GT6 Valued at $89

Not to sure what is the price for the G27 as it's not listed on their website but please leave the price in the comments so i could add it to the description.

and considering its been 79 in the past according to an ozbargain search, it doesnt appear to be a good deal at all!

    • I paid $94 for the GT and I'll pick the game up on import most likely. The deal is pretty good though for those who want to grab a wheel but tbh I probably wouldn't at this point unless you plan on keeping the PS3 and getting some use out of it in the future as the GT wheels won't get PS4 support. Having said that they do have PC support as well.

I don't know what DSE charge for the G27 these days, but if it's a decent price I would certainly recommend it. It's a great wheel and paired with the grand turismo's it is awesome.

    They're also PC compatible too.

Why is this PS3 game coming out after the PS4 launches? What are they thinking..

    • +3

Because there are still 80+ million ps3 users and GT is there biggest franchise. Ps4 users will have DriveClub until GT7.

I understand the reasoning but tbh I don't like it. I have accepted now that GTA5 and GT6 are PS3 games but I was a little pissed at first.

According to the wiki they started development in 2011. Doubt they even had anything for the PS4 for them to develop on that platform at that time.

G27 was $379 from DSE a couple of weeks ago when I bought mine. They did it for $350 and probably would have gone lower had I haggled harder, but it was a decent price after staff discount.

  • I noticed the GT wheel's RRP at DSE went from $129 to $179 a few weeks ago, so seems legit. I got my GT wheel for $119 @ DSE a while ago, great racing wheel highly recommend it.
