30cent thongs for $20….great bargain there.
As much as I don't rate paying that much for a pair of thongs, Havaianas are much more comfortable than any other thongs I've worn. It's surprising how painful it can be after wearing a pair of $1 Big W cheapies for a whole day compared to these.

Never buy these online. Too many times the plugs / tops are squashed, twisted etc. Spend a couple of extra dollars and buy in-store.
Agreed. I normally buy in store but have bought three pairs online separately and they have each snapped around either the plug or the side strap after nearly a couple months of use (might be due to the squashing). The ones I've bought from stores have all lasted me years or been lost.
Also noticed one of the thongs goes discoloured-shiny on these sometimes while the other stays normal but that's unrelated. Still the best thongs I've worn.

I find they last longer, the rubber/plastic used holds shape (doesn't leave a crater of a mold of your foot) and they don't destroy your feet (between the toes etc) the first time wearing them.

People seem to have forgotten what sore feet can be like if you wear rubbish like this. Once you have had arch problems you will NEVER wear crap like this.
I had a pair of Havianas that I lost and replaced with a cheap pair. Mostly I noticed that the cheap pair would lose it's shape quickly, leaving less padding underfoot - whereas the Havianas had more of a solid sole that gave more padding underfoot. I'm sure it's just generally the case with expensive vs cheap thongs… not necessarily just Havianas.
They rinse off all the toxic byproducts with Evian water, so it has to be good

Yeah the Havaianas Tops Thongs (same as the current deal) is the same price at Pauls Warehouse (cheaper if you buy 2) so this is definitely not a deal…

Is this like the Aldi deal where the thongs came in an Aldi-branded sealed plastic packet?
They're cheap possibly because they're a cheaper line by the same maker.
I had a look at the Aldi ones. They seemed on par quality wise with the ones you see elsewhere, however there was no normal sizes left at all. They were packaged in plastic bags which I'd never seen before.
If you don't like those thin strapped thongs like Havaianas because they dig into your foot the Quiksilver Kelly Slater 3 Thongs are a good alternative and are now only $15.95 with free shipping (even cheaper when they send out their discount codes).
