Small, portable vacuum (NOT 12V)

Hi everyone,

I'm chasing around & looking for a small, portable vacuum. I use it for PC work & using a standard vac is difficult. Desktop-sized is what I'm after.

I've seen USB-powered pieces of junk, 12V for car cleaning, but nothing that plugs to regular mains?

Is there even such a thing? If so, why can't I locate one?

PS- I know about canned air- I prefer not to use it.

    Check Black and Decker Dustbuster series.. I have one with 18v.. no complaints so far

    This might help you, and at around $100 still constitutes an effective mid-price option relative to a Dyson handheld.

    I VERY specifically bought the 14.4V (genuinely useful suction) version of the third Hoover vac that scrimshaw linked, because it comes with accessories that THEN allow you to connect the vac to the generic (small brushes and tubes) vacuum kits that allow you effectively clean keyboards and small items.

    Godfreys also sell those kits ($20 from memory - ripoff price), but you'll find them online elsewhere (China stores / Ebay) for much less.

      Okay! That's exactly what I'm looking for, SS & Tas. The extras pack sounds about right, as the standard crevice tool is worthless inside a PC case if it's closely followed by the bloated body of the vac itself.

    Apparently, for anyone lurking—- there's a need for a small, mains-powered, electronics vacuum & nothing is available—- IN THE FRIGGING WORLD.

    I bought a Hoover Handivac Wet & Dry 9.6v (via OzB) when it was on special for $19 or $29… It's now $69

    I have to use it way too often! :-(
