  • i believe the 1020 is $599 outright at telstra…although, not sure if they have all the colours.

    • Telstra only has black, good deal though, almost as cheap as that deal Dick Smith had a while back.

Telstra logo and bloatwares on, I would rather spend another $50 to not seeing them :)

It's Windows Phone, anything they add can be completely removed. The real complaint is that they took something out of the OS, DataSense.

        • DataSense came back on my 820 after an update. This is on Optus network.

      • you sir, are not a true ozbargainer!

  • Good deal, but I'm waiting for 1520 for the higher resolution…thanks OP.+1

  • I have to say I am surprised that Nokia brand are still surviving….when it decided not to use Android OS.

Have been looking for a mobile with GREAT camera and speed….I know that Nokia makes their camera Great, but is Windows OS mature now with heaps of apps??

    • +1

Apps wise, they are growing, but are a long way from reaching ios and android. granted, you can just pin things e.g. youtube so that it uses the browser to access youtube.

My biggest complaint about the the Nokia 1020 is the dated specs. Yes, Windows OS doesn't need high end specs, but the 1020 does. Starting up the camera and taking pictures isn't instant (like the 920), because the Snapdragon S4 isn't strong enough to process 41MP.

  • hope they have the $580 + $20 app credit deal back!
