$15.69 1L Cancer Council Everyday Sunscreen @ Chemist Warehouse Liverpool NSW

80

Hi all,

Saw this on Friday at Chemist Warehouse Liverpool. Not sure why I didn't buy it on the spot. Ended up buying at Paramatta via pricematch (Paramatta store showed ~$25) but they took a photo and put the transaction through.

Never seen this sunscreen so cheap! Been using it for years now.

For comparison, Woolies sell this for ~$26 for 500mL (not on sale).

  • On a side note, comparing the 110ml sunscreen next to it that is $7.99, Aldi sell 50+ 100ml sunscreen for $2.99. Yes, more expensive per 100ml than the 1L, but easier to carry around, and not everyone needs a lifetime supply of the stuff. I've always found sunscreen to be so expensive.

    • It is true that not everyone needs this product. However, I already have a small one (similar to the one you mentioned) and frequently need to refill it. In no way is 1L a lifetime supply for me hahaha. More like 1 summer (factoring in gatherings etc).

I agree that sunscreen is very expensive. Not sure how we are to protect ourselves from cancer at such high prices. But then we have this deal!

  • coles sells 50+ 1ltr for $10

  • So far used this, Coles' and Aldi's. Didn't notice a difference and Aldi 50+ was on special for $8, so I went for the cheapest option. They still have some stuck in Waterloo if I am right.

Thanks OP, hopefully it is in QLD too. This is the only sunscreen I use on my kids, no nano particles and not a chemical sunblock like the Aldi and Coles cheapies.

      Not chemical, that's interesting.
      What's the alternative, magic?

    • Coconut oil is not a substitute for sunscreen! This is dangerous advice! If you're afraid of inconclusive research FUD from Dr Oz then find a sunscreen without nanoparticles.

  • Apparently this was a pricing error, but my local hadn't taken the promotion price ticket off before I went to buy it, so still got it cheap (in Qld).
