Ozito 3 Piece Lithium Ion Combo Kit - Drill + Driver + Multi Tool $99 @ Bunnings

90

I bought the 2 piece kit when it was available for $75 last year, this is even better with the impact drill for an extra $25.
The drill is great for basic around the house stuff, putting furniture together etc and being readily available at any time

I beleive this particular deal pops up from time to time. People have mentioned getting this price before.

Not sure what the impact drill would be good for, it's rated for 80nm, but handy to have I guess

        Jk close enough :p

  • Not sure what the impact drill would be good for, it's rated for 80nm

i assume you meant impact driver, its for stuff like wood screws etc. being impact its less likely to strip the screw

I have 18v Ozito impact driver, it is the only impact driver that I have tried and I find it to be extremely useful and value for money.

      • It's the best part of this kit.. The drill isbrubbish but that impact driver is awesome.. The saw is good too…

Edit: thought this was the 18v kit..

  • Standard price, but very good tools for the price, the drill is a 2 speed with a locking chuck, replacement batteries are around $16 and fully protected unlike most, the impact driver is a not super powerful but does most domestic jobs and saves the wrist.
Grab the $24 multi tool blade set and you are sorted.

  • the 2 piece would be 18v vs 12v for this kit. and the standalone tools are better spec'd than the kits

impact drivers are good for driving screws etc. 80nm is pretty low for an impact driver, but much higher than an ordinary drill

  • The 2 peice is the exact same drill and multitool a mate bought it before the 3 tool kit came out.
The tools in the kit vary from $80 to $90 each as individual boxes.
Most of the cheaper Ozito 18v sets have garbage tools in them ie. single speed non locking chuck etc.

  • Is this Ozito brand any good? Im thinking about buying their version of a Dremel and wondering if it will last.

i have one which i've never been happy with. the chuck simply won't hold the bits well enough…

  • I got this kit last time it was $99. It is a basic kit with not much power, so it can struggle with more demanding jobs (eg deep holes or hard wood). It is fine for around the home, with a recharge between small jobs (the batteries are small) but if you want to do anything significant, give this one a miss.

The tools are cheap and cheerful and they have a 2 year replacement warranty for anything that goes wrong which is great. It feels solid but is not heavy.

I have since upgraded to the Makita which was $99 for the drill only and reach for that before this kit without hesitation. The impact drill is good for driving screws but the Makita has more torque.

I do like the multitool as it is great for sanding and refills are cheap.
