All Skylanders Swap Force Characters $8.98 at DSE (Normally between $14- $19)

170

All individual packs are $8.98, between $5-$10 off.
Triple packs are $18.98, around $10 off.

Seems to be in-store only.
Victoria Gardens (VIC) had some left, much more at Northland (VIC)

There was a character I couldn't find and Toys R Us didn't have any problems price matching this price…

Time to stock up if you have kids…

      The statement wasn't exclusive.

        The statement wasn't exclusive.

        escapism I'd say… :P

  • Is it classed as an accessory?

If yes, get instore today for additional 40% off or at least 15% off (see other thread on valentines offer)

    • 15% off.

    • Confirmed that 15% off is available on these prices, however, not all single character packs will scan at $8.98 - apparently only clearance stock is marked down (or that is what I was told) so they matched the price for me to $8.98 but would not further reduce it by 15% on those items.

      • That sucks. I grabbed a few of the single Skylander swappable characters (where you can swap top and bottom) for my little boy and they all scanned at $8.98 then I got the 15% off as well (Rockingham, WA).

        • I already had the swappable characters that were available, so didn't get to try it on them.

  • There was a character I couldn't find and Toys R Us didn't have any problems price matching this price…

You price matched something you couldn't find?

    • Yep, DSE didn't have it but Toys R Us did

  • North Sydney has a small selection:
Swappables: Magna Charge, Rattle Shake, Hoot Loop, Free Ranger
Triple Packs: Lava Barf Eruptor, Slobber Tooth, Super Gulp Pop Fizz; Series 3 Spyro, something else and Zou Loo.
They also have a few single packs of Zou Loo (not scanning at 8.98) and Slobber Tooth (unknown scan price).

    • Was back in there this morning and can give a better inventory.
      Swappables as above.
Single Packs: Mega Ram Spyro, Lava Barf Eruptor, Blizzard Chill, Super Gulp Pop Fizz, Slobber Tooth, Zoo Lou.
Triple Packs: Mega Ram Spyro, Blizzard Chill, Zoo Lou; Lava Barf Eruptor, Slobber Tooth, Super Gulp Pop Fizz

EB Games North Sydney pricematched the catalogue straight away.
      They have the following:
Single Packs: Lightcore Smolderdash, Star Strike, Jolly Bumbleblast, CountDown, Rip Tide, Lightcore Grim Reaper, Super Gulp Pop Fizz, Slobber Tooth, Zoo Lou
I didn't look for triple packs.
However I did notice that they have the following in case you are looking for them ($30 ea):
      Arkeyan Crossbow Battle Pack
      Sheep Wreck Island Adventure Pack

  • Sale seems to be pretty inconsistent, although it feels like it's more series 1 stuff than the later characters. I just picked up Rattle Shake and Free Ranger swappables + star strike light core for $8.98 each at Canberra Centre in ACT.

Thanks for posting. Just picked up 4 swap force characters for Robot Boy. He's very pleased.

    • +1

He's playing with them now Robot Mum! Happy noises.

  • Checkout your local Woolworths too.. I bought some Skylander toys for under $4 just last week, saving $15. I bought I few to put aside as birthday presents.

    • Checkout your local Woolworths too..

I've never seen them at Woolies, it's not listed online. only Big W

    • I've seen Megablocks Skylander stuff that cheap at Woolies… but not the game figurines.

  • Went to 4 different ones and all had the same stock. EB and JB refused to match. They didn't even bother trying to reduce price at all.

    • EB and JB refused to match.

I had no problem matching at Toys R Us. Just show them the catalogue.

      • Did Toys'R'Us call the nearest store to see if they had stock?
Chatswood has done that to me in the past.

        • They didn't call DSE, they just checked the catalogue online to verify the deal.

Catalogue does not specify any specific characters, so she let me buy what I wanted at $8.98

      • +1

yeah, will get the catalogue and take it to show toysrus tomorrow. even without the extra 15% still a really good price. I wonder how many from the sales will end up on ebay or gumtree at full price! I cant stand that!

  • Thanks JV.

My two local WA EB stores price matched the catalog price no problems.

  • EB price matched for me too. Though he wasn't happy about it.

I think before telling them how big the discount is just bring up price matching first.

    Mine was like:

Do you price match? He said sometimes.

What about stores in the same complex? He said oh yeah if they are in here and you can prove it then sure.

Great I bought this at DSE over there (showed him the rcpt and skylander) can you price match pls? He didn't look comfortable then said oh the receipt only shows that character.

So I showed him on lasoo the DSE catalogue. He says well you have me on receipt and catalogue. Go pick as many as you like.
